新项目的话不如直接上beam，G家的flume拿出来的。工业界里面G的东西是绝对的典范
，随便拿个几年前搞的东西开放出来都是state of art。 |

想找学scalding的动力, for analyst/data scientist。
i see one "real" advantage of pig over scalding is the utilization of
hcatalog.
公司用很多hive做dataware housing 的话，pig can access all those tables's
metadata directly. no need to parse anything. this is especially helpful
when you have hundreds or even thousands of columns.
pig can also write to hive via hcatalog so other coworkers (who uses mostly
hive) can use my result easily.

靠Twitter，应该够用一阵子了。如果需要实施复杂的算法，从Scala还可以扩展到
Spark。最后，我感觉用原生的Java+Cascading也比cascalog强。因为用Clojure的话，
又存在于Groovy的竞争关系。 |

学习scala.
简单说一下我的看法：
scala对于写大型程序的程序员来说，因为其fp的特点，写起来并不是很方便，但是对
于data scientist 来说scala的优势会远大过劣势。
julia 和 scala对于data scientist 主要是跟 python 和 R 竞争。
scala， julia 的一大优势是处理 row based file 时速度接近于 C++ 比起不用 C++
的 R和python要快很多。
scala相对于julia的优势是有java library的支持，虽然现在用scala load进去的
java library有时会有错误，或者根本不报错，但是这个情况在逐渐变好，scala可以
直接生成jar文件只要有java的机子上都可以用。
在Hadoop中，scala，java和python是最popular的，在1.0中python的劣势并没有很明

什么样的孩子需要使用保温箱？
一般进保温箱的宝宝都是早产儿。因为早 产儿体质虚弱，不能适应外界的环境，所 以

保温箱是一般产科医院必备的设施，南京的宝宝们到底安全不安全？专家表示，虽然目前最后的鉴定结论还没有出现，但保温箱最高设置温度也就37℃，以前南京从未发生过类似事故。究竟是什么原因导致孩子出现类似烧伤的痕迹，需要当地部门的调查结论。

昨天上午，现代快报记者首先来到南京市红十字医院，这里病区有四台保温箱，一台正在工作中，一名刚出生的宝宝由于黄疸过多，正在接受蓝光治疗，实时设置的温度是30.6℃。妇产科主任厉叶青说，其实南京产科大多配备了保温箱，但是能够设置的温度也不过37℃。
厉叶青用一台未使用的保温箱为记者演示，设定温度按到了37℃后，就再也按不上去了。厉叶青说：“温度的设施是有讲究的，一是最高温度接近人体正常体温，防止过热，第二，37℃确实也是最高限了，一般宝宝用不了那么高的。”
南京儿童医院专家介绍，该院有140台保温箱，最高都是37℃。
37℃会烫伤人吗？
记者采访了南京业内多位专家，他们纷纷表示，一般情况来说，仅靠暖箱里37℃的温度，很难出现网上那名患儿大面积烫伤甚至烧伤的。

近两天，网上传出福建泉州一新生儿被保温箱“烤死”的一组照片，触目惊心。原定19日上午举行的情况通报会被取消。泉州市委宣传部新闻科科长陈霞红19日下午表示，女婴死因专家目前已有初步鉴定，但家属刚同意做尸检，所以要等尸检结果出来才能最后确定。
感染所致还是“烤死”
泉州市宣传部新闻科科长陈霞红19日15时在接受记者采访时表示：“专家目前已有初步的鉴定，但孩子的家属刚同意做尸检，要等尸检结果出来才能支持专家的鉴定，到时候婴儿是怎么死的，究竟是SSSS(葡萄球菌性烫伤样皮肤综合征)还是温度过高的原因，一有情况我们会及时对外公布。”
记者采访一些医院烧伤科专家表示，婴儿死亡如果是感染，是有据可查的，如果是被“烤死”，会有相应的病理改变。
调查组专家说，烫伤有一个蛋白变形的过程，包括小孩的眼睛和其他器官，是不是烫伤，最能达成直接证据的就是做解剖。但尸检需要一个过程，结果会第一时间公布。
泉州市儿童医院的一位工作人员透露，专家组目前已经基本达成一致，婴儿的死因为感染所致，不过最终的结果还有待调查组宣布确认，调查组也会在第一时间公布调查结果。

。以前在A家的时候估计是全公司唯一一个用这个的。
scalding还是不很熟悉，不好多说。就从目前我的理解来看，现有的很多code倾向于写
很大的函数，code里出bug的可能性要高。而且没有emacs那调试的效率没法比的，因为
那可能意味着要写完整个job才能开始调试，不能切成片调试。 |

近几年涌现的热门创业公司。我给大家一个列表，这个是华尔街网站的全世界创业公司

2，不要光盯着价钱，活儿做的好不好很重要。同样是安装同一根管子，可以10分钟就
焊好，也可以半个小时。10分钟，就是直接上去烧焊；30分钟，要考虑后面的板材，保
护好beam和joist。然后再做，同时考虑支撑，water hammar，冷热水分配（anti
scald) 等等。
3，接头fitting, 相对铜管本身贵很多。最后加上接头，还应该多花一些钱。
4，2800，我们maryland这里，一个一般的townhouse，换得话，也要这个价钱。 |
