旅居海外，每天都要在SKYPE上和老婆联络感情，有时也不免会读一下TOM迷你主页上的
新闻。15日晚登录后，被弹出的一则新闻标题吸引，点击进入了页面（http://post.news.tom.com/C5000947376_0.html），内容大致是，薄熙来之子薄瓜瓜在今年5月9日获得“英国华人十大杰出青年”称号，并被授予“大本钟奖”。据了解，薄瓜瓜在已在英国留学多年，中学就读于著名的哈罗公学，本科考上了牛津大学，可谓一帆风顺。网页上薄瓜瓜的生活照显得小伙相当精神，气质不错，还有一张据说是跟几个同学一同获得某障碍赛冠军的合影，看来确实是个全面发展的好孩子。

从泰、缅、锡兰而来的南传佛教，由于居士们的努力，也在美国各地传扬开来：其中有
亚裔人士西来，如目前在台颇为知名的印缅大师葛印卡(Goenka)居士，其所成立的止观
中心遍布美国十二州，经年举办三日至十日的禅修;也有“东行取经”归来的美籍人士
