对扬基那场11个K，根本拿他没办法。捕手接到球棒才挥出来。
有时候不能指望他每场数据都牛逼，5H，1－2个ER以下。但是他是那种可以投满8局控

第三场Lackey对Verlander，今年六月Lackey在底特律有过一场7局2ER的表现，球队3:2
领先到九局下半，Baily一个保送一个HR直接输掉。即使Lackey能重复那场的表现，要
从现在的Verlander手里抢分也是很难。希望调整心态，Lackey撑住、打线至少抢下一
两分（六月的系列对Verlander的比赛也是打掉了Verlander之后输在牛棚，但现在的
Verlander不一样了；九
月没有遇上）
第四场Peavy对Fister，常规赛两队交手Fister在底特律输了，在Fenway则是无失分获
胜。这场应该是把系列赛带回Boston的关键，这场丢掉基本就要game over了。
如果能大比分2:3回到波士顿就已经很幸运，但第三场和第七场投手对阵可能一样，个
人认为这对红袜是非常不利的。红袜还是得争取赢两场——第五场如果Sanchez出场的
话也得咬牙拿下来才行——否则还是困难。如果第三场能趁势抢下来是最理想的——
Scherzer和Verlander这样的状态红袜能够连续两场不输非常难，一旦做到也是意义非凡 |

今天完全就是我上面说的情况--关于为什么verlander六局后就下了。。。如果是阿童
木的主场，verlander就很有可能还会回去接着投第七局：
It should be noted Verlander threw 93 pitches in Game 6, and it seemed like
he had more left in the tank for the seventh inning. Astros manager A.J.
Hinch had to pull Verlander from the game because his lineup spot was due up
in the top of the seventh, and he needed to pinch-hit with his team down a
run.
感觉阿童木的coach最近彻底晕菜了，有点不知道怎么搞了。。。他们队的投手们一个
一个迷之状态，他谁都信不过的感觉，呵呵。。。而且还有难以取舍的morton和

熟悉的这批当代牛投们了。。。SI曾评选过一个MLB在00-09年间的all-decade team，
结果深与我心有戚戚焉--五位rotation投手就是我上一章写过的那三位大牛Pedro，
Johnson，Schilling，再加上新生代的两位翘楚Halladay & Santana。的确，如果要写
这个世纪以来最好的投手们，我心里大概有一个六七个人的名单，其中Doc本来就是排
在第一位的，他是我心目中这个时代的顶尖投手的代表，是ace of the aces，而现在
他的去世更坚定了我要用专门的一章来dedicate给他的想法，就像其他爱他的人用
youtube上的tribute videos来纪念他一样，希望能够向这位在我熟悉棒球的年代最稳
定最有统治力最优秀的投手致以一份深深的景仰和敬意(当然，还有无尽的惋惜与伤痛)。

其实要是问任何一个中立球迷，V强还是cc强？那肯定全票支持V吧。换做养鸡球迷，估
计一半对一半，投cc一票的估计很多也都是“无条件”支持。
实战差不多也就体现了正常的差距，虽然都被打了4分，但是其实两边hit都不算很多，
不过Verlander扛到了第8节，另外cc还是客场，Verlander did have the edge in
this game.
其实当第一场rain out的时候我就觉得养鸡机会来了，因为老虎确定是4-man rotation
,所以只会面对Verlander一次，也就是即便是cc出场也很难赢的比赛只有一场，而cc是
头血牛，提出过投Game 2(and maybe 5 if needed)。。。 |

are not in the same group any more. You is what you is.
A consistent 3+ ERA pitcher is very good, but that's not
as good as Verlander's performance. Even CC's selling
point of durability isn't on his side--Verlander pitched
more innings 2 seasons in a row. That perf gap between
good pitchers and true ace makes big difference in short
series. CC also tends to dominate average teams but
struggle against good lineups, which has happened very

Tigers在Kansas City拉开2006赛季的大幕,五个月后在同一个球场”Clinch Playoff”.
赢下对Royals的这个两场小系列是意料之中的事.Rogers和Bonderman各胜一场.接下来
连续四场客场对Rangers,前三场Robertson,Maroth,和Verlander各自取胜.尤其
Verlander新赛季的首次亮相,居然在这个对Hitters极为友好的球场里Shut Out了
Rangers的大棒子们.
五场过后Tigers和Brewers成为大联盟仅有的两支全胜的队伍.ESPN这帮无聊人就开始分
析了,分析的结果是Tigers是Pretender,而Brewers是Contender.
对Rangers的第四场,Rogers输给了旧主.经过漫长的客场之旅,球迷们终于盼来了Home

There are several other SPs clearly better than CC.
CC doesn't have lead over Verlander in any meaningful category,
including his best advertised innings pitched. This is still obviously
true even after Verlander's bad outing of yesterday. |

Verlander已经三场WS了,0-3, 7.20 ERA, 1.6 WHIP
不过Verlander在季后赛其他轮次总计6-1 |

Verlander就一定是第六、第七战且很可能面临淘汰。哪怕Scherzer和Verlander都送了
一分而Sanchez是六局零封，红袜也一定是要争取扳倒Fister和Sanchez避免再遇上那两
个。
红雀没有选择第五战一定要面对Greinke，虽然他们的Ace排在第七场而他们不一定那么
害怕客场的Ryu，但是第七场任何事情都可能发生，还是速战速决，能不再碰Kershaw最
好——何况去年他们也3:1领先。 |

这场主要看打线。
太空人拿下话估计就直接4-1了
明天田中基本没戏拿下Keuchel。
在养鸡混到今天这场的基础上就得看Severino能不能在客场单挑verlander了。太难了
实在，基本没可能啊。
太空人应该是要极力避免第七场的，否则cc再对上morton，虽然Keuchel可以出来
reliever一下，但是那时候养鸡机会就大大的咯。
不过大概率4-1或者4-2就被淘汰了。想从Keuchel和verlander手上偷一场太难。 |

不可能后面俩ace都被打爆
但如果今天不能拿下，那keuchel/verlander后面压力还蛮大的，因为他俩就都一个都
不能输了。。。相反田中和severino的压力就不那么大，因为他俩可以只赢一场就够了
，只要拖进第七场就是胜利。。。
如果有game 7,astros就基本完蛋了，估计到时候keuchel,verlander都得出来relieve,
而且牛棚so far也没太经历过考验，那情况就甚是恐怖了啊。。。 |

发帖数: 4136 | 26 NBA季后赛没有背靠背。22111的话换场地怎么打背靠背，如果不打背靠背，球队配置可
以少掉一个ace了。在打满7局的情况下，g1上ace1，g2上ace2，g3g4休息，g5上ace1或
者ace2都可以，因为两个人都至少4天休息了。G6上另外一个。G7上G5的ace，3day
rest，甚至G6的ace因为休息过了都可以上来relieve一下。对于有强ace的球队太有利
了。
就拿太空人和养鸡说，前6场排兵布阵不变，第七场现在verlander肯定不能投，
Keuchel可能能打reliever。如果改22111，估计就是第七场Keuchel首发，verlander
reliever或者反过来。

先发投手下去时如果落后着并且最后比赛也输了的话，算先发投手的loss，如果之后扳
回来了，先发算no decision,就是不胜也不负，哪个牛棚投的那局赢得，就算那个牛棚
的win...
先发下去时如果领先着而最后比赛输了的话，先发也得到no decision(更tricky的ER在
他头上的例子先抛开)
如果先发下去时领先着并且最后比赛也赢了并且先发投满了五局的话，先发才有一个
win...

2001年的10月，911刚刚发生不久，美国人民特别是纽约人民正处于巨大的哀痛之中。
洋基队带着各种政治正确和三连冠/五年四冠的头衔进入了决赛。全国人民都为他们祝
福（其实全国人民尤其是波士顿人民对于洋基夺冠早特么看腻歪了），冠军是势在必得。
对手是建队才几年，以往战绩乏善可陈的亚利桑那响尾蛇，似乎没有悬念。可是上狗却
是响尾蛇。是的，你没看错！当年响队有两个Cy Young级的投手，Curt Schilling (
ERA 2.98/whip 1.075)和Randy Johnson (ERA 2.49/WHIP 1.009).这就相当于你的队里
有Verlander和Kershaw两个ace级人物，而且响尾蛇队准备把他们操到爆。Schilling负
责1，4，7场，Johnson负责2，6场。这就意味着洋基要夺冠必须从这两个ace里拿下两
场，另外两场也要赢才行。而后来情况证明，这两位ace比想象得还耐操。Randy
Johnson不光先发了2，6，而且先发后第二天就救援了最后的第七场。

currently 14-7 with a 3.38 ERA and has an alarming 211 strikeouts in only
181 innings of work this season. He had a dismal 2008 season and it is nice

it could hurt him that he won't get as much exposure as pitchers on the Red
