但我国古代没有硅字。汉语中原先并没有这个词。我们的祖先既不知道硅这种元素
的存在也没有创造过硅字，康熙字典里就没有这个字。汉字中的“硅”是民国早年创造
的新字。当年西学东渐，西方的化学知识传入中国，中国人才开始有了元素的概念。回

如果我展开Var(Xi-X-bar)：
Var(Xi-X-bar)=Var[Xi-(X1+X2+...+Xn)/n]=Var[(1-1/n)Xi-1/n(X1+...+Xi-1+Xi+1+..
.+Xn)]=(1-1/n)^2*S^2+(1/n)^2*(n-1)*S^2=(1-1/n)S^2
如果我直接用方差计算公式：

和上面得出的不一样
不明白正确的计算方法是什么，还有以上两种方法之一错在哪里？

四主族就成了碳xi锗xi铅，假设锗用本族元素xi掺杂，到底是哪个xi？说二氧化xi，到
底是SiO2还是SnO2还是SeO2？
写文章的口气看来是老先生，不过说老实话所谓的论据不太对。比如所谓硅字原从畦，
音xi的说法这个完全不知道从哪里听来的。翻翻康熙字典，就可以知道“畦”字《唐韻
》戸圭切《集韻》《韻會》懸圭切，𠀤音攜。也就是说，古音应该读为xie2，
而现代音是qi2，反正都不是xi。所谓音变的说法站不住脚，除非你能找到历史变迁的
证据（语音不是你说怎么变就怎么变的）。我认为把“畦”念成xi，更像是某种方言。
这个错误不像那些“文学根底比现代人厚实得多，认识的字也多”“能写詩填詞和用文
言文写很好的文章”的老科学家们犯的，而是某种屁股决定脑袋的产物，就跟前一阵子
要学台湾改某些汉字的字形一样，大家笑笑算了吧。 |

第一个计算是对的，之前你混淆了variance和sample variance，后来改过来了。
第二个问题很大，你的xi是random variable，所以你才能计算它的variance，

据说中国人熟悉的「习大大」有英文翻译了，《纽约时报》的一篇文章将之翻译成Xi Dada或Xi Bigbig，以我极其有限的英文知识来看，这两种译法都无法把中文语境下的「习大大」那种微妙的含义表达出来，这就是跨文化交流经常遇到的难题。
查阅内地方言，不同地方对「大大」有不同的指称，但一般显示是对年长者的尊称，比如在北方方言中，「大大」指的是伯父或者父亲。南方一般不太用「大大」这个称呼，我是南方人，这么多年就没听过有南方人这样叫自己长辈的。所以「大大」还是在北方流行，尤其是西北，陕西人就称呼父亲为「大大」，或把自己父亲同辈（族）男性称为「大大」，也即叔叔、伯父。习近平出身陕西，叫他「习大大」，合乎陕西人的习惯。

发帖数: 70028 | 45 据说中国人熟悉的「习大大」有英文翻译了，《纽约时报》的一篇文章将之翻译成Xi Dada或Xi Bigbig，以我极其有限的英文知识来看，这两种译法都无法把中文语境下的「习大大」那种微妙的含义表达出来，这就是跨文化交流经常遇到的难题。
查阅内地方言，不同地方对「大大」有不同的指称，但一般显示是对年长者的尊称，比如在北方方言中，「大大」指的是伯父或者父亲。南方一般不太用「大大」这个称呼，我是南方人，这么多年就没听过有南方人这样叫自己长辈的。所以「大大」还是在北方流行，尤其是西北，陕西人就称呼父亲为「大大」，或把自己父亲同辈（族）男性称为「大大」，也即叔叔、伯父。习近平出身陕西，叫他「习大大」，合乎陕西人的习惯。
但是，「习大大」这个称呼在中国的政治文化下，又不仅仅这么简单。这个称呼似乎最早是从一个神秘的「学习粉丝团」叫起来的，后来网络特别是社交媒体就流行「习大大」的称呼。据悉习本人也很喜欢人们这样叫他，最近官方媒体的报道也开始使用这个称呼。
