PriceWaterHouseCooper is one of the big four, the name recongition is higher
than Grant Thornton, and compensation is $4300 dollars higher annually than
Grant Thornton. But I really enjoyed talking with the people in Grant
Thornton, and if I go to Grant Thornton, I am going to work primarily on
private equity clients, while in PWC, I do not know which department they
are going to put me to work. By the way, both positions are audit entry

At GT,you will be working the same kinda hours anyway
and you don't get the big4 name on your resume
the other way to think about it is that
you can always go from big4 to regional firm if you want a couple years down
the road

最后,钱是衡量公司对你的能力的唯一评价, 其他tmd的都是假的.如果他们认为你好,工

我发现美国工资情况和国内正好相反, 大陆是公司越大,工资越低, 因为知道想去的人
多. 相反小公司为了吸引人才,给的工资比较高.
美国正好相反,公司越大,工资越高,要显出大公司的样子. 公司越小,工资越低,因为小

1. PWC 名气很大，没话说，你将来要跳槽，或者是回国，PwC显然比GT强。
2. GT人NICE，我只能说GT人不是很AGRESSIVE，这个公司的文化，整体有点保守，从上
到下，更注重工作生活的均衡。说实话，可能比BDO,RSM 都保守。
3. PWC工作重那是肯定的，忙季80个小时肯定有吧。GT加班比较少，忙季来说，一般没
有周末加班，晚上一般是8点到10点回家，干超过12点那是非常非常罕见的。这还是纽
约，去其他地方，更轻松。所以如果你是MM准备生小孩，注重家庭，不想拼命工作的话
，GT比较适合。如果你是出去在职业发展上打拼的，去PWC。

will be much higher. Your dignity and self-esteem will stick to yourself
more.
but everybody's story at PwC is different, you might just find your niche
well here.

big 4 myth. The most important thing is how much you can learn in a happy
work environment. You learn less in a big company. Of course you learn a lot
politics in big company.

course PwC. Don't think twice. The big4 name on your resume will overweigh
the long hours you worked there. But for more experienced folks, guess life
quality is more important.
