I think R is the worst model among MBs.
It's heavy and slow.
It's supposed to be a 7 person van but instead of sliding doors they make
this super long rear door that needs the entire parking lot to be empty to
be opened.
It's 2nd and 3rd row seat rooms are about the same as a Mazda5.
Oh did I mention it's longer than any other minivans and has the longest
turning radius of all minivans? But don't count on hauling cargo as it's
cargo volume is almost half of all other minivans, whether with 3rd row seat
up or down.
It's not a van-van, it's just a symbol of how rich you are and how much
money one can waste on things like this.

MSRP.
R350 after 2009 is reliable, and kind of popular in CA.
Rumor is: MB will sell Viano in USA, but no official news so far.

如果預算有限，還是上sienna吧，除了油耗高，其它還不錯的。

的，要么就是旁边没车。你们难道把孩子从后备箱塞进车里吗？

不是无视，而是在停车位里面就算有sliding door，上下人也很困难。除非自己带着孩
子出来，否则让家里人看着孩子在旁边等下把车倒出来，既免去了家人在狭窄地方上车
的困难，也避免了开门刮蹭旁边的车，何乐而不为呢？

在两边都有的车情况下，绝大多数人都是在进入车位前把人卸下来的。

反正堵parking lot别的车也不多你一个了。
我们这边你要出位上下人，parking lot就不用走了。
另外，你出位上下人，司机总不能先下车再让车自己进位吧。
有司机自己开门进出的空间，滑动门就可以很轻松的送孩子进去。
非滑动门就不一定了。
最后，除非你家有辆闲置小车让你随时都能用，否则需要你一个人带孩子出门是太经常
了。
你一个人带孩子出门你咋办啊？孩子扔parking lot车道地上？

只不过美国国情特殊，这种minivan没市场罢了。
这样车贵，我等吊丝是开不起的的，富人嘛，美国地广人稀，富人住得的
地方更加地广人稀，如果是小富人，自己开车的，那么开个豪华SUV不会跟吊丝
去挤city的停车场，不担心门开不方便的问题。豪华suv对他们来说够用了。不需要
豪华minivan. 对于大富人雇司机，或者豪华接送服务，有更豪华的Limo在前头的，
为啥还要minivan？
所以这种豪华+performance, minivan，在欧洲和中国还是有市场的，美国没市场，
就没人做。

R350 is so luxury it failed to do its basic job as a family mover. As a
result almost no one wants it. MB has learned its lesson by killing the R350
.
