都不到...也许是没怎么花时间negotiate....尽管工作钱也不多：（，确实太忙了...
马上要搬到DC了，外加得换车，所以比较而言，觉得14%off的GLE350已经算可以的了..

另外说下package 貌似p02要加6000左右，p03要再加9000左右，都是些有的没的东西（
对我来讲）...不过貌似p03由各parking assistant所以还算有用，但是加9000稍微贵

I was informed that leasing can get cheaper price/ more discount while
purchasing a car is a different story now due to the different corporate
incentives to sales. Not sure, it is correct or not but seems plausible...
any thoughts |

发帖数: 1951 | 15 I really don't think selling or leasing a car makes any different to dealer
about making profit out of the car itself.
The only difference is leasing means you have to finance through dealer only
so the dealer has more room or items to play trick. Also, if you are local
to the dealer, leasing means you may have to lease another one after the
term ends, so the dealer may want to make a nice number to hook you up for
long term. It is just a theory from what I experienced.
You don't have to guess what options from dealer make you most savings, just
figure out a fair market price for your own needs no matter buy or lease.
If you really like luxury cars like BBA, my real life experience is lease is
a better option than buy, since their depreciation is really fast and out
of warranty repair/maintenance cost is high. Also the purchase price is high
, you also pay a full tax upfront which you surely will lose it when you
sell it. So overall, sell after 5-6 years the cost between lease and buy is
minimal. Why don't you get yourself driving two new cars instead of one.

Me neither, yet thx dealer said so since the corporation give them more
financial incentive for leasing out the car since they make more money in
the transaction.
Again, not sure it is really true or simply lying about not providing
further discount for cash-based transaction.
Any suggested dealer with " fair market value" around DC or Maryland area?

发帖数: 1951 | 19 I am not local to D.C., but heard someone from NJ get 15%off through lease.
Check forums.edmunds.com, you may find more pricing info.
12-15 off are fair market price overall. Never heard someone get more than
15 for brand new, while it is not hard to push 12%off especially it is close
to 2018 model out.
