最近开始具体看的时候发现openings几乎没有，真是郁闷极了

所以觉得可能teaching school比较适合，不然不知道可以去干什么了。。

还想请问一下，teaching school一般对research的要求，我可以做与teaching in
higher edu相关的吗？还是必须是自己领域的，比如mechanical engineering

做什么
research。

开心就可以了。

。master们在系里甚至学校有很强硬的关系，博士们学问再好，经验再多，人品再好，
也混补不进学术界。而那些人品低劣的滥鱼充数的master混混们，在学校要舞扬威,
不可一世.

都是做过industry的

teaching school里很可能有engineering

This is very misleading. A liberal art college usually doesn't have a
professional school (B-school, engineering school, Medical school, Law
school et al), but it doesn't mean they are different from any research or
teaching schools. In deep of higher education, liberal art education is the
essential part.
There is no absolute difference between research school and teaching school
either, and if there is any, it just means whether it is more of teaching-
oriented or research-oriented. |
