This is not likely true. Even if it is true, it is common courtesy to keep
colleagues' verbal requests in mind.
For some American people, saying $hit and fxxx is no big deal. I think it
would be an overreaction for a guy to get the chair involved in something
like this.

there are too many things in my mind.
Please, in the future, send me the name/title of the student ONE week in

下就CALL OFF MEETING，是很不礼貌的。别拿什么OFFICIAL RULE来搪塞。也许LZ的同
事熬夜在最后5分钟准备呢？
这里提供的所谓TEMPLATES都是打算撕破脸的。根本犯不上。如果确实是组织者的问题
，技术地道歉是最好的做法(对方EMAIL里的SHIT根本不算什么，很正常的反应，别往心
里去)。
建议LZ：
1、首先弄清除对方是什么状况。比如是否记错DEADLINE、或者正准备5分钟后发
ABSTRACT
2、不要立刻把CHAIR搅和进来，何必往大里折腾。先私下口头沟通。比如完全可以委婉
道歉：Cant believe I locked you out.I am really sorry, blah blah 再看看对方
如何打算、也给双方一个台阶：What should I do now?
3、如果道歉了对方还不依不饶，再说。

the dept already, if that's the case, you need to deal with it differently.
For example, a gentle reminder of the rules to the whole faculty might help,
with a brief explanation of the incident. Be careful about the tone, and no
