前些天在学校的career center听了一个关于seeking faculty positions in
community colleges的讲座。 我understand这种地方value teaching, research他们
不看重。
当时有个高年级的中国人问没有绿卡可不可以申这样的职位,她的回答是you must
have an "authorization to
work" to be eligible for employment.
Once you complete your degree, I
believe you would need to apply for a
working visa with the U.S. Immigration
Services. Unfortunately
community colleges generally do not
"sponsor" candidates. 请问这个sponsor什么意思?
还有,请问去了community colleges, 是不是以后再也没机会去更好一点的学校了??

GC. americans like to work there b/c the pay is good and the job is easy,
and they only require a master's degree for their faculty. if you have a ph.
d., you get paid even more. |
