，一年还上两门课。实行的是大学的工作量，医学院的编制。

人的工资是差别不大的，因为工资是由你的level和工作年限由州政府统一制定的要涨
工资大家一起涨，要不涨都不涨。
你想想，这样的体制，谁还有动力拿funding呢？唯一的动力就是自我驱动力去维持所
谓的学术地位了。
所以我们医学院一群一群的所谓终生副教授在混日子，一旦上了副教授，如果不想好好
做升正教授，就天天想着怎么钓鱼搞yard吧。

course coordinator纯属混点时间，基本上啥都不用做。
我的teaching responsibility不算少的，一个同事是8小时，一整年。

? The big bull department chair left and the new department chair will not
have people sitting around doing nothing. A lot of professor (most non-
tenured) got a year notice and even the tenure one got drag into post-tenure
review. My department chair is known for aggressiveness (he gets paid more
than most Deans in the school), he/she actually forced retirement of an
endow chair after loss of funding.
