The problem with that argument was that everything bad was laid
on Donovan, which is obviously unfair. I know a lot of Eagles
fans actually claimed that the only reason that Eagels went to
the SB in 04 was the presence of TO. We know this is biased as
well.
The problem of Eagles, as I see it, is the management. It adopts
a philosophy of staying competitive as long as possible while
not trying its best to win it all. True, Eagles spent money as

另外，eagles的management philosophy我是支持的。必须保持competitive all the t
ime, smart management of cap, 孤注一掷的去赌个win it all now, 最可能的是没有
win it all, 而且下面5年6年不得翻身。
eagles以前一直是个烂队，来了andy reid以后才牛起来, 一旦球队堕落到(bengals, b
rowns, raiders, fill in the blank)，老板就要亏本了。来之不易的大好局面当然要
保持。看看NFL的牛队, pats, steelers, 都是一样的philosophy.
i'm not an eagles fan (or even an NFL fan), 多看了几场比赛而已，个人拙见。呵

SB really had little to do with him.
I am with you. I think from a managment point of view Eagles are doing
the right thing. sports are business. The most imporant thing for the
owner is to make money. Of course staying competitive is crucial.
But one just cannot say that McNabb could not win big games. It is
the Eagles, as a team, as a franchise, that cannot win big games.
OK. I know I am just a McNabb apologist. hehe
