Sorry that I can not type Chinese. I have reviewed 14 times for a Journal,
and recently I got an e-mail from the Journal as follows:
Dear Dr.
I invite you to accept a 3 year appointment to the Editorial Advisory Board
of the Journal, starting 2013. We expect that members of the Editorial
Advisory Board will review manuscripts when requested (probably less than 10
or so per year), handle the entire review process if requested by the
Editors (this will probably be an infrequent event), attend Editorial Board
meetings when possible, and provide the Editors and Elsevier (our publisher)
with advice on journal policies.
My question is that should I accept it? I have just submitted all documents
for my green card application.
Thanks and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! | s******4 发帖数: 1322 | 2 You should accept
Even without the need for GC it is still a good line on your CV
Also you will be ask to review only when previous referees are in conflict
and the authors keep appealing
Also you might be able to help other ppl on this board to get reviews
