If you are single and don't have a lot of stuff, it is enough, and it's
better to ask for cash.
If you have a family and lot of stuff to move, $5000 is not enough. You'd

employer.
What I meant was if after negotiation, finally you have 2 options: $5,000
cash or reimbursement. That was the assumption for my points.
If you are single and don't have much to move, you'd prefer to ask for cash.
Usually you need to ship a car and a little firnatures. You can drive there
if you get cash. For cash, the more the better.
That depends on how much cash you can get. Just choose the better one for
