Software Engineer – Java Cloud
Description:

We are looking for such individuals to join our engineering team. As a
Software Engineer, you will be part of a team that develops the next
generation of cloud-based services to support our customers, with your
duties to be initially focused on web content categorization. You will
work closely with our Researchers to enhance our machine learning based
systems, creating and enhancing tools to mine and analyze large quantity of
data.
Requirements:
2+ years Java programming experience, focused on server side development
2+ years of software development experience in a Linux environment
Hands on experience using heavily multi- threaded code. Experience with
distributed systems a plus
Familiarity with in Perl or Python ( Python preferred),and the ability to
quickly prototype tools to extract information from large data sets
Previous experience with large data sets (TB) a big plus
Experience with non-SQL DB, Mongo preferred, a big plus
Strong analytical and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work on a dynamic environment
Education:
BS or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Math/Physics or
equivalent experience
