现在忙着找工作
专业是ECE，偏CS方向，Phd期间主要搞mobile computing和social network的一些东西
会议文章乱七八糟加起来大概有12-13篇（大都一作）， 杂志可能有4,5篇（大都一作
）（但是顶级会议，杂志文
章不多）
小弟对于以后怎么发展很迷茫
一条路就是争取找个posdoc，然后再积累点文章以后找个research lab或者是faculty
（我觉得较难，也许回国找）
另外一条路就是好好刷题，找马工位置
现在犹豫的事情就在于，如果继续混学术圈
感觉自己顶级文章不够多，当postdoc也许也难说就能发多么好的
万一高不成低不就当不了faculty或者进不了research lab怎么办
如果当马工
又觉得写的这些文章用处不大
是不是有点可惜了
而编程自己又不算多么牛逼（phd期间用matlab比较多，java接触过）
各位大哥，高手，前辈

博后也难找到top20学校的offer, 当你自己现在都不够自信能找到牛校faculty的话，
去工业界找一个自己满意的位置应该是一个更合适的选择，你做的方向目前工业界很热

只要能找个位置就行
不是非要多好的学校
如果当马工我只是觉得发的文章就没啥用了

Look at yourself, are you a wolf or a dog? Ask yourself, is freedom your
first priority? Are you passionate about your own stuff? Or would you really
good at finishing tasks given to you, and need a boss to give you those
tasks? Now look at those papers, how many of them were your idea followed by
your own execution? How many of them were your boss’ idea and you simply
implemented what he/she told you to do?
If you are a dog, simply forget about academia and just find a job in
industry. Remember some years ago some tenured professor ditched his tenure
and went to Google and post a blog justifying their action? He is a dog who
needs a boss.
If you are a wolf, or you are not very sure, try academia first. You can
always go to academia from industry, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!
