Job Qualifications:
Ravello Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Java Software
Engineer with core knowledge of Java-based technologies including J2EE, Java
SDK, EJB, JMS, XML/XSL, JavaScript, AJAX, Web services and UI Design.
Experience with Object Oriented technologies such as SOA/ OOA/OOD, Design
Patterns, and UML preferred. Advanced education such as Masters or PhD in
Computer Science is highly preferred.
The Senior Enterprise Java Software Engineer needs to be self-motivated,
results oriented and driven to succeed in complex environments and have a
proven record of developing enterprise grade software. The successful
candidate must be dedicated to high quality software engineering and
familiarity with full software development life cycle is required. Being
comfortable with advanced techniques in software development and/or
mathematics are also desired skills. He/She must be able to effectively
communicate both verbally and in written form to a variety of technical and
non-technical audiences and possess excellent organizational skills. He/
She must archive a high level of customer satisfaction and exceed standard
levels of performance. This person should be able to work in a fast-paced
environment and with small and/or remote teams. Strong leadership and a
powerful desire and ability to translate business needs into software
solutions both in our product suite and in complex customer deployments.
Technical savvy - Internet, CRM, or e-business experience a plus.
Job Description:
The Senior Enterprise Java Software Engineer will be responsible for the
design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of Ravello
Solutions entire product suite of insurance software. The ideal candidate
thrives in a dynamic environment and is extremely flexible. This person
will work with our highly talented chief architect, team of developers and
project managers to exceed our clients’ needs as well as further enhance
our software functionality.
