昨天晚上bf在写一个essay,他问我知不知道affect和effect的区别,然后给了我几个句
子做例子,整个过程相当一个confusing...
一开始,他说,hey u know how different “effect” and "affect" r?
然后我by default地认为他在问二者作为动词的区别,就一通查,然后一通解释。
然后他说,oh ok, so---"the affect is pretty obvious?" i should use it like
this?
我一听就崩溃了,我说,那什么,原来你是要问作为名词该怎么用啊!?
然后他说,noun? noun means "something" right?
我继续石化,然后说,那我再查查啊,刚才跟你说的区别是作为动词的...
然后他问,so what is verb again? action?
我这个无语啊...
总算,我查清楚了名词的区别(affect似乎没有名词用法),一通解释。
然后他说,oh, so---"what the unit did seems effective",i should use it like
this?
我又崩溃了,我说,啊!你到底要问哪个词啊?effective是形容词!
然后他说,huh? what's adj? i know effective is another word, but it's from
effect, shouldn't it mean the same thing?
于是,我又开始查affective和effective的区别...
他的essay总算写完了,两个词(词源)的区别也搞清楚了。
我说,我真无语啊,你一个native speaker居然问我一个外国人这种问题...你上学的
时候不学语法么?
他说,of course i know how to write, i know the grammar...
我说,那你怎么名词,动词的基本概念都没有啊?
他说,that's cuz English is my first language, i know how to use it properly
without those marks, but for u, since it's ur second language, u need to
know the rules\marks first before u can use it, cuz to u guys, it's not a
natural thing...

imagination.
3. Then, run some regressions at home.
