玩了一下，很惊艳的啊，就是屏幕有点小。这么好的东西，怎么能被palm卖成这样啊，
palm市场部门的人可以拉去枪毙了。
顺便去苹果店里面玩了一下ipad，真就是一个大号的itouch啊，没有什么特别惊艳的东
西。不过屏幕大了，看网页确实感觉确实爽多了，有些全屏游戏也不错。有点沉，拿在
手里沉甸甸的。尽管没有什么突出的地方，这个大号的itouch依然热卖。
palm做市场的人，能赶上苹果的一半儿，palm也不会沦落到今天。 |

另外palm还不如去开发中国市场。
第一代系统，难免慢。你看iphone第一代也问题很多，经过几代的进化之后，就很不错
了。

1) Build quality was very bad during Sprint Launch (the problem has been
fixed);
2) Software (web OS) update sometimes does not work (e.g., wipe out all the
emails for the user);
3) Battery drains too fast (this problem got address in web OS 1.4);
4) The screen is too small compared to iPhone.
Poor marketing and sales effort did not help, but it's secondary comparing
to the product itself. I guess

pre刚出来的时候，自称是iphone killer
但是硬件不过关，主要是慢和电池不好
但我没看到主流媒体有什么大报道
相比现在的android，也是慢，费电。但人们就是非要买。真不知是怎么回事。我感
觉到的唯一区别就是google的手机人家讲得要比pre 多

BB， iphone,palm pre都玩过了
我感觉BB实用，比如push email, fast, easy, 省电
ipohone酷，应用多。而且智能手机市场是iphone闯出来的
palm pre其实很好。很多设计实用又方便。我自己几乎不玩游戏，所以那些APP对来
说吸引力不大。只要常用的就行了

Google android's case is slightly different, those guys have developed it
for a while and also have some
technical advantages such as multi-tasking, and shortcomings on design (
compared to iPhone). But Google
have one thing Palm does not have: deep pocket. Essentially Google can
subsidize the carriers on marketing
and sales cost, just to get the market share. They did this actually. Google
also have more leeway when
