发帖数: 54 | 1 今天是不到三岁儿子去我们的健身俱乐部办的夏令营的第三周开始。下午两点去接的时
候，儿子一个人坐着似乎在画画，看见我也不过来。我过去，他不让我碰他的右胳膊，
很可怜的说胳膊疼。我马上发现胳膊肘处肿胀。讯问teachers，没人注意到这个，有人
说他在11点左右的公园里玩时摔了一下，然后他没事了。我马上联系summer camp的负
责人，要求一个事故报告。
我带儿子去了急诊，两个小时以后，医生诊断说他的上臂接近肘部骨裂（minimally
displaced supracondylar fracture with moderate sized elbow joint effusion）
。下面我们需要带儿子见othopaedic doctor打石膏和复查，大概要4-6星期才能拆。
医生说这种伤常见于小孩从较高处摔下，但小孩应马上感到疼痛并不能活动。而summer
camp老师说儿子摔了以后还和别的孩子一块游泳和吃午饭。我们的疑问有（1）究竟什
么造成骨折；（2）如是在公园里摔跤造成的，我能马上发现并判断须去医院的情况在
三小时内竟然无人察觉。想起来儿子真是可怜。

, I hope the summer camp can use its insurance money to bridge the gap.

发帖数: 11672 | 3 不到三岁的孩子去summer camp还是不太合适哈。我琢磨那地方孩子年龄大小不一，领
队的也未必是受过专业训练的，对这么小的孩子不容易照顾周到。孩子本身年龄也小，
出了事故自己也说不清楚。

them to cope with.

some sort of insurance for summer camp programs? We are not happy mainly
for the hurt to our son today and the challenge he will have when starting
his new pre-school in September (we need talk to the chilren's center
tomorrow about whether he still can start it on time). And we have to
rearrange our schedules due to this. Basically we paid to get into trouble.

发帖数: 54 | 6 Now I am thinking that might be a mistake. Our son is physically well
developed so we wanted to put him into a more active program. He is in the 3
-5 years class. We discussed with the summer camp director in advance and
she said that is fine.

with the directors there to know how to file a claim and what documents/
receipts are needed to file the claim. Maybe the policy even covers hiring a
nanny!

发帖数: 152 | 10 3-5岁班可能对你孩子来说太大了。小男孩都皮，大孩子会玩很多新奇好玩的东西，小
孩子就爱学。但是3岁不到和3岁半，和4岁5岁小孩的活动能力差太多了，所以就会容易
受伤一些了。 |
