rich people who pick up the majority of the tabs anyway; they are foolish
to think that once the politicians have the money, they could actually ply
it out of their hands. They will be in for a rude awakening down the road.

中产倒霉，美国中产太富了
至于消费税，穷人大部分消费是grocery,反正免税
多收点别人的税来付自己的福利很划算的
