Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer
As part of the hardware development team, this candidate will design the
embedded systems for Point of Sale (POS) terminals and RFID equipments
and System Integration Design. This person mainly research new
technology and products to design the HW system and customer’s
requirement. This person must prove to be a team player. The candidate
will collaborate with PCB designers, software engineers and customers.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and related field
around 5 years related engineering experience.
• Experience with POS/Handheld technology a plus
• System design with embedded 8/16/32 bit CPU (MIPS or ARM a plus)
and related interfacing, e.g. NAND-type Flash memory, SDRAM, USB
Host/Client, Graphics LCD, Ethernet.
• RF experience a plus.
• Know good PCB layout design practices to ensure reliable
designs.
• Knowledge and experience with ESD and EMI.
• Hi-volume design experiences a plus.
• Experience with switching and linear power supplies (i.e. DC/DC
converters).
• Experience with wireless hardware including GSM/GPRS, 802.11
b/g, Bluetooth, and CDMA.
• Know how to implement serial interfaces including RS232, SPI,
12C 1/100BASE - T Ethernet, USB and RS485/422
• Must be familiar with standard engineering release practices,
including documentation control and detailed reliability qualification
testing.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Have superb troubleshooting skills.
• Have lab experience using standard equipment such as
oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and soldering.
• Some travel as required, domestic as well as international for
project coordination, project/product integration, and product support
and especially for initial product release.
• Chinese language is PLUS. |
