Senior Optical Integration Testing Engineer:

This Senior System Test role focuses on the testing and verification of
system releases in our multi-layer packet transport solution. Release
testing includes verification of feature, performance and the system
operation against industry standards from Telcordia, ITU, and IEEE. The role
includes verification of the integration of multilayer-management system (
NMS/EMS), optical planning tools and DWDM transport systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop test methodologies and test cases for evaluating features of our
packet optical transport product against product requirements and industry
standards.
- Develop automation test capabilities to verify product operation as part
of the product release cycle.
- Perform lab testing on a multi-node system using Ethernet, OTN, and DWDM
test sets as part of the product release cycle.
- Work with development team, customer support, and product management
groups to ensure timely resolution of all identified issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years testing experience in the telecom, Optical/Ethernet
transport, or software fields.
- Proven track record of developing automation test cases using programming
or scripting.
- Capable of evaluating system operation against requirements.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates who are familiar with any of the following will have a
significant advantage:
- Transport product operation and reliability requirements.
- Lab testing using test instruments in the areas of Ethernet testing, DWDM
testing, or OTN testing.
- Familiarity with Telcordia, ITU, and IEEE requirements in the areas of
MPLS-TP, Ethernet, DWDM, and/or OTN. | d******y
