我的车是两个多月前做的smog，现在要把这个车卖给朋友，我想问一下我这个步骤对不
对。
签好title，然后一起去dmv过户，就完事了么，说是一起去不需要bill of sale？
另外就是那个smog， 做完了两个多月，需不需要我在去DMV之前用我朋友的名义再做一

You need not go to DMV. Your friend makes an appointment online with DMV
first, then he brings the signed title (pink slip) to DMV, pay money and
register the car under his name.
You need to either mail the top part of pink slip to DMV in 5 days or do it
online in a few minutes (release your liability). You SMOG check is valid
for 90 days. Also make sure your friend has insurance before driving away
your vehicle. Once your vehicle is gone, tell your insurance agent that you
sold the vehicle to save your money. | f*******n
