Position: System Admin/Application Support Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple SharePoint applications hosted on managed
platform
• Monitor the applications and work with facility teams to make
sure the services are on
• Provide functional and technical support for daily issues/
requests
• Interfacing with client and application owner to understand
issues reported or requirements raised
• Thoroughly research issues to identify root cause, communicate
status with appropriate sense of urgency, follow through with agreed upon
resolution
• Escalate to Engineering team on any issues and/or requirements
that are decided need to involve Engineering team
• Implement enhancements and additional functionalities released by
Engineering team
• Prepare and keep operational documentation updated
• Communicate regularly with the application owner and the
Engineering team regarding progress, status, issues and critical decisions;
call out risks
• Obtain, analyze and document requirements to insure all solutions
successfully address business and system requirements or solutions in fully
integrated manner
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels
of Business and within IT
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• At least 3 years working as System Admin with progressive
responsibility
• Experience with SharePoint 2007 customizing, configuration
required. Experience with SharePoint 2010 is a plus
• Experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008, IIS 7.0, SQL 2008 or
higher. Windows 2008 R2 is a plus
• Web application support or development experience (C#.net,
JavaScript, AJAX). E-Learning application experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of release management techniques and
methodologies and other standards/processes
