It’s been that long since the Senate passed a Federal Budget.
If President Obama wants to run against a “do-nothing Congress” I hope the
Republican nominee obliges him, and points out this fact at every
opportunity – then excoriates Obama for being the embodiment of poor
leadership, for allowing the Democratic leadership in the Senate to blow off
one of their most important responsibilities for three years without a
single admonishment or reproach from the White House.
The Republicans should also remind voters that not only have Harry Reid’s
Democrats refused to introduce their own budget for the last 1000 days, they
’ve also killed every single budget-related proposal from the House.
There is no way the Republicans should be able to lose on this issue.
However, I’m sure they’ll figure out a way sometime before this November. | S*********n
