upon login i got
"Connected to an idle instance."
after i tryped
"select sysdate from dual"
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
i checked the helpd document about this error code,
it says:
ORA-01034 ORACLE not available
Cause: Oracle was not started. Possible causes include the following:
The SGA requires more space than was allocated for it.
The operating-system variable pointing to the instance is improperly |

oracle is already started.
i'm using windows 2000 server, oracle 8i personal edition
what shall i do now?

Run "startup" in sqlplus. |

ORACLE_SID
before you run svrmgr or sqlplus from command prompt.
If Oracle create the database for you then the sid should be
ORCL.
another possibility is as wangfsh pointed out, instance may
not started. |

it goes to
the Initializing database, error: not connect to Oracle.
Then I run dbassist instead, the same error.
When I use svrmgrl to start my database, after 'startup',
the error
is 'ORA-00445: background process "PMON" did not start after
120 seconds'
when I use sqlplus to log on as 'system', the error is
'ORA-01034: ORACLE not available'
'ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist'
'Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory '

发帖数: 31 | 6 我上次LOGIN ORACLE时候,一切还非常的正常;但是,今天开机,再次LOGIN,想做完那份ASSIGNMENT时,居然给了我两个错误信息
1. ORA-01034 ORACLE not available
2. ORA-27101 shared memory realm does not exist
无论我如何重启,它还是给我同样的错误信息......
求教各鑫淮笙有没有什么解救方法,文欠軦SSIGNMENT我才做了1/3呀......
顺便一提,我的O/S是WINDOWS2000,装的ORACLE是8.1.7.0.0

我写了一个jdbc 程序, 用的是oracle jdbc driver. 开始时
能连接到database, 并且能create table. 后来大概是在drop
table 时出了问题. oracle 整个不能启动, control panel
里的service status 是 "starting". 但是不能手动启动.
用sql+ 登陆失败, error message 是 ORA-01034. 请问各位
有什么办法解决? 非常感谢!! |

sid as db2. Then I can do anything I want without problem.
But after I shut down computer and reboot again. Then I found I can't start my
oracle server anymore.
I use dbshut and dbstart command, there is nothing display.
I use ps -ef |grep smon, there is nothing display
I try to use sqlplus to connect, it give errors:
