SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Here comes an increase in Utah's sales tax.
The increase would mean an additional 5 cents on a $100 purchase. It would
not apply to food.
House and Senate leaders agreed to a higher tax Thursday as way to pay for
road projects. It is expected to bring in $20 million a year to relieve
congestion problems.

and possession limit.我没好意思插话。做老师的多数都自以为是，他说他问了鱼警
，鱼警告诉他，家里的冰箱的鱼都算在possession limit里面，还有现在daily bag 和

First Marathon Race, Jogging around the lake,Art of Institute Museum,
Country Music Festival, Free pasta loading at youth hustel, FB after the
race, and most important, meet with new friends and have fun.
10-10-10,真是一个十全十美的日子。

星期五从新泽西到芝加哥，入住青年旅馆。第一次住，当时觉得一是便宜（30左右一晚
），二是离马拉松起点很近，旅馆就在East Congress Rd，出去5分钟就是起点。8人间
的宿舍，进门是洗脸和冲凉的地方，里面房间两侧各放2张高低床，中间每个人有一个
放置个人衣物的柜子（锁需自备）。床铺很干净，更好的是星期六晚上有free pasta，
而且星期天也允许晚点check out,可以跑完冲个凉再走，很推荐以后的runners。

有点冷,穿了hoodies 和wind pants
原来计划是start slow在9:00的pace, 结果发现大家跑得都很快,就跟着一起,大概是8:
30的pace.
第一圈前6.5miles感觉不错,很有余力.
然后发现老毛病又开始了,右脚脚底开始疼.
平时跑到8mile就会开始,今天差不多. 沿着湖边跑的时候,冻土很不平整,脚更疼了.
回到水泥地上好了. 不过湖边的pace慢下来了很多.

发帖数: 2903 | 21 跑步两年多了，终于跑了首马。没有达到预期的325，但也差的不算多，所以还好。就
是赢了很多安慰包，很不好意思。
跑前睡了不到四小时吧，四点就起来了，这个应该没有什么影响，因为我提前一天下午
就先睡过了。到了赛场5：45左右，就排队上厕所。今年的组织很不错，移动厕所很多
，而且都放在室内，只排了5分钟。然后晃悠，存包，等阿牛和龙哥，到6：40多才开始
往corral A走。今年天气好，人就比去年多很多，再人堆里一直往前挤，继续找厕所，
运气很好又找到一个很短的队。出来6：57，继续往前挤，跑到了3小时pace附近才停下
来。
我们三人目标不同，阿牛一开跑就没影了，我和龙哥一起跑了几分钟也分手了。一路找
各种美女跟，希望能找到一个目标一致的。发现7：30这种pace的比较多一点，7：45的
就比较难找，也可能是站太靠前了。就慢慢让人超，碰到觉得能跟的美女就跟一会儿。
换了好几个才有一个比较稳定的，后来还聊了一会儿。问她目标是不是325，她的意思
是做梦也没想过。果然一过半马就减速和我说拜拜了。过半马的时间是1：41左右，我

却是一派茫茫的大漠景观。正午的阳光下，那成片起伏的灰白黄褐色大地沉沉地睡着。
远处的小城在渐渐的放大，车最终扎入城市喧嚣之中，我们的目的地，西部古城Carson
便到了。
海拔5，000尺的Carson市是内华达州的首府，也是这个TRT100比赛的根据地。比赛的号
码领取以及准备工作，还有重要的比赛说明会就在市中心议会大厦边上的草坪上举行。
来自各地的近千人将分别参加55公里，50英里和100英里比赛，每个项目250到300人。
赛事组委会规定周五下午三点前要check in，随后参赛人员，尤其是100迈的被要求一
定要参加赛事说明会。
这是我的第一个百迈赛，很多东西都很新鲜。当然更多的是茫然和不安，毕竟是人生的
第一次嘛，又不知深浅的选了这么个难度较大的比赛。虽然向超马前辈同仁们请教了很
多，但是这次的酱油训练，高海拔的影响，加上颓废的状态，赛前给自己定了个在35小
时cutoff以内完成的目标。如果比赛过程中状态良好，也许可以争取33到34小时。跑友

好，看到有人在说alamo weekend $10/day，还是提醒大家注意一下。计划有点不确定
的最好都不要用他家。
alamo的trick在于early return不仅要付$15 early return fee （这个在pick up车签
contract时要initial的），而且没在term或contract里说明的是如果早于在原定的那
天还车，系统很可能会自动把你的daily rate改成当时的walk-in rate，要贵好多，这
样早还车还要多付钱。偶这次在HNL alamo，原定是凌晨12:01am还，还是pre-paid，结
果航班时间改了在前一天的6:30pm还的，就差几个小时，结果系统不仅自动把偶的
coupon给去掉了，而且把daily rate从$20改到$37，多charge几十块。害的偶还有90分

好在那天上午有meeting，这样正好就错过了。刚才打电话给hotwire，客服说这种错误
他们不能改机票。给航空公司也打了电话，机票也改不了。要改必须叫150刀的change
fee。 hotwire的客服说他们有certain exceptions，但是我的这个错不不在excetion
里面。不知道有没有大侠知道任何可以接受的exception？ 或者有没有其他办法？多谢

本地时间12：01 am 之后，Check in 当天取消预订话不退钱。
转让的话应该不会收费。一般的change是指预订房间数，天数，房间类型之类，
upgrade应该不算哈。给酒店打个电话把预订人的名字改掉就好了。 |
