far says that Gnosticism is on connecting with an internalized God, like the

这本书是80年代存在主义哲学思潮再次兴起的时候的作品，这本书里面的故事只是个载
体，本质上其实是对存在主义哲学的反思，因为传统意义上“上帝”（或者其他什么神
仙）主宰一切，人都是渺小的，在无所不能的天神主宰下生活，更重要的是，“上帝”
是正义的化身，能弃恶扬善，主持公道。
但是事实上我们这个世界的现状告诉我们其实世界并不是这样的，主持公道的上帝其实
并不存在，比如苏联入侵捷克，如果这如大家所公认的那样是错的话，为什么上帝不出
来阻止这一切？为什么苏联最后会大获全胜？
于是这就引起了一个非常重要的问题，我是谁？我为什么要活着？活着究竟为了什么？
其实这就是这本书要探讨的问题。
