I personally think it is not easy, particularly if you are not in a top10
school. The thing is, the jobs we apply to are hot jobs. We are competing with
very bright natives in a sluggish economy. It is true that the big GP firms

还试了 mustang gt
都是 v8 的, 油门都不太敢使劲踩
雨天有人开, 但在版上听开过的说雨天红灯起步不小心踩大了, 车就扭屁股了
所以后来就算了 |

感觉这个base其实挺够用的。标配back up cam倒车挺方便。加油还不用高标，87就行
，真是偷着乐。新技术就是好，哎。
内饰比camaro 2ls好多了，那个有点觉得富康的即视感，10年前的显示屏，后视镜还不
是auto dimming。
自己开的话S档足够日常了，LD开D就行了。油耗也还不错。

clerkships in the courts. It's already hard to send out application for firms
on December 1st. And I didn't have time to ask about the clerkships last time
I talked to our adviser---possibly because that's really not my first choice.
I managed to get about 10 out---many prestigious firms don't consider 1Ls at
all since by now they have usually hired enough 2Ls.

It is still early to say there is no jobs for 1L in a firm, your friend will
probably get one. I really don't think the 2Ls have much more advantages than
us---qualitywise---as a patent attorney. The advantage they do have is the OCI
opportunity this fall and the fact that most of the firms focus on them in the
hope of recruiting them next year. But I did hear the result of OCI in our law
school this year wasn't good, a drawback of not being in the top10.

in CS and 4 yrs engineer work experience, I'm pretty much set, which really
makes me feel good... although still anxious about the first year classes.

you will be a cold, efficient cash-earning machine from day one. every little
signal conveyed to the interviewer should reenforce this message -- the firm
will make more money by hiring me, not my classmate, not that top 5% guy from
Harvard. and here are the reason why, blah blah blah ...

students, I am also finding my way in the dark. So whatever I say is just my
own feelings and thoughts.
Probably not. I am just used to speaking of schools as "top10." For example,
Berkeley dropped out of top10. But I personally would still choose it over
Virginia, Michigan or even NYU. It is just personal preference. Top15 schools
are all very good schools and all the big firms go there to recruit.

a good summer intern because they must compete with 2Ls of the 3 year program.
It seems that 2 year program does not have any financial aid except the loans.
Moreover,extra time is only for those foreignors who did not study in a
English-speaking country before. So, if you have a degree in the U.S. now, you
are not entitled to the extra time in NWU.
