Sounds to me, it is strange that they do not chop.(300k+450K)/2=370k*2+(10k for
HU and FTOP avar), when they are close enough. Or chip ratio chop.150K for a HU game is just too much for normal player, or even for professionals.
Maybe brain think he will win in the end, since he is professional and good HU player, and have played 25k buyin HU game before, and won 3rd.
From what I saw today, PSU got very lucky. he has kk, crazyevan has qq, get one double. Another time, PSU get AA, E*T gets KK, |

经历了差不多一年多的折腾,终于在前不久刚刚买了个房子。也来分享一下经历,希望
大家能买到称心如意的房子。
首先声明,我不是房黑,也不是房托,只是家庭需求(不是刚需)。
地点
大约看了半年,我们得出的结论是Cupertino的房子价高房差,于是决定在cambrain或
almaden。孩子们真的是喜欢almaden的房子!每次看房,如果是cupertino的房子,总
是吵着要走,如果是almaden的房子,总是在里面玩的不想走。我们也喜欢去爬附近的
山。
这期间发生的两件事促使我们改变了想法。一是有个朋友告诉我们他们每个礼拜都要送
孩子到Cupertino来参加课外活动,一出来就是一天,还是挺累的。另外,春天的时候
,满天飞舞的花粉,也是需要注意的。

非大牛啊,就一马工。有兴趣的话去efinancialcareers的hedgefund下面找big data,
投条只要fit就会有人骚扰你的。最近几个ca的asset management和chi的high
frequency shop都说可以400-500k,不知道真的假的。。。我认识的人最近拿到最好
offer的是我phd同学,ms research做ml的去了chi的一个小shop做partner,做head of
analytics,给了370k头三年。 |

chi的400-500k啊,西岸的DS,除了几个大公司的Staff以上和几个热门的startup(
startup也是预期),能拿到这个数的真不多。你同学在chi每年370k,只要能忍受chi
的天气,肯定无脑跳。

其说是“风险小”列表,不如说是“房子难涨地区列表”。试论证一二:
1. 常言道“强者恒强,弱者恒弱”。NYC, SF地区房价高企不是一年两年了,支撑房价
的不是那个affordability的percentage,而是能afford的人口数和房子总数的比例。
这里看百分比是没有多大意义的。只要还有人能买得起还愿意买,即使affordability
