有天来到了一个论坛上，发现那个论坛的人很有意思，没有太多的争论和吵闹，当然偶

才子也有才女，有帅哥也有MM，是个很不错的论坛。很快我就喜欢上了这个论坛。
看了一段时间后，我也想起一个笔名，上去和大家聊聊。为了不惹人注意，我想把自己
打扮成一个年龄老成的人，少些麻烦。我就顺便起了一个笔名叫“千年枯木” ，注册
上去。
当我这个“千年枯木”的名字一出现在论坛的当天，就有人恶做剧，起了一个“万山红
遍”的笔名，也出现在论坛上，并表示欢迎我这个新人，好象那人是一女性。这个令我
稍稍有点不快，因为我有“千年” ，她就有“万山”，压了我一头；我是“枯木” ，
她是“红遍”，她朝气蓬勃，反衬我整个就一奄奄一息。不过话又说回来，在论坛上大
家就玩玩，开个玩笑，也是挺好的一件事情。
那时，我心情不好，也无意与大家聊天，还是看的多，说的少。心情不好，就对哲学突

我觉得进firm肯定可以到这个数。但是如果进industry，除非你的3y是和国内公司想要
的经验完全契合的，否则国内一般财务方面工作,比方总账，fp&A, reporting，3年经
验，运气好1万出头一点，运气不好可能到不了。
有美国cpa是不是做us gaap下的reporting优势比较明显？可以朝这方面努力看看。 |

呵呵，以前一直还挺赞施一公，不过这篇的确把俺推到倒施的一边去了
1、标题是‘做助理教授的日子’。内容的一大半却是自己面试拿藕粉的经过；另一半
也不是讲自己做助理教授的内容，而主要是讲两个大牛给他讲过的话。
2、面试第一天跟4个教授一对一面谈，施大爷只提了3个人名，一个是系主任，一个是
后来的校长，一个是后来洛克菲勒大学校长，另外那一个名字被吃了，因为前三个点出
名能给自己充面子，剩下那个没名的提了也是浪费版面空间。
3、400申请人，6个面试，自己是胜出的2个之一；6年中7个人只有1个拿到tenure，自
己复制了1/7的成功。施大爷真会不遗余力吹捧自己的出类拔萃，不知道这些素材当初
有没有抄送中宣部、人民日报社、新闻联播制作组？如果这篇文章是为鼓励和指导青年

发帖数: 214 | 25 １。博士在英国是学生，而欧洲大陆是雇员。一般来说，欧洲的博士是受过６年高等教
育训练的学生（参照德国是６年的Diploma）才能申请的。而英国六年可能已经博士毕
业了（3y bachelor + 3 y phd）。当然优秀的英国博士肯定有，只是整体水平上，欧
洲大陆很多研究所不认为英国的博士系统是严肃的。对于在公司找工作，没有什么太大
的影响，但如果打算从事科研，这算是一个软肋。不举天才特例，一般来说，英国的博
士需要至少再做一期到两期博士后才能和欧洲大陆的fresh phd有相当的publication。
而在申请很多经费的时候，是要求phd毕业多少多少年的，防止老教授和年轻人不对称
的竞争。这样英国的phd就会错过很多机会，虽然他们的年龄和科研经历实际上和自己
的竞争对手是相当的。
２。博后及之后阶段，欧洲和英国没有太多的差别。
３。英国不是欧元国家和申根国家。移民相关的工作年限等，双方互不承认。 |
