地点有些偏僻，属于我们这的不安全地区，不过白天也无所谓。去了就问能不能租枪打靶，店主是白人，很客气，问我要用什么枪，我说不知道，因为只是大概在网上混了混，叫不出枪的名字。他问是家用还是啥，我就说家用的。他说他和他老婆都用XD-40，我也不知道是啥，看他指了指，觉得挺酷的枪，就要了那个，拿着很重。

得我，没办法，实在是语文功力差，再加上又懒，所以就一直潜水来着。这次的报告也
允许我偷懒一下，把我写给朋友的一封email来充数吧，其中很多细节大家就不要追究
了，我就是来骗包子加混脸熟滴。
先背景介绍一下，我原来是一个800米不及格的人，从来痛恨跑步，直到2年半前为了跑
一个5迈的比赛开始为Achilles Track Club做志愿者，人生从此改变。在我的report中
多次出现的那个Chris因为先天基因缺陷，逐渐失去视力，现在已经全盲了，但是他在
1995年前已经跑了17个马拉松，今年我们终于鼓动他重新出山，跑第18个也是最后一个
马拉松。废话少说，大家看报告吧。

。比较糟糕，没有达到预期的3：50。
比赛过程
Dallas White Rock Marathon 从downtown的American Airline Center出发，先向
东北，围着White Rock Lake跑一圈，返回出发点。整个course起伏很大，特别是从18.
5mile到20.5mile有一个上升204ft的hill，有意思的是，在进入这个这个hill的路上，
有一个大大的起点标志，告诉你真正的marathon开始了，事实也是如此，每个人都要为
消耗殆尽的体力和奋力上坡而经受折磨。
前半程跟着3：55的pace team直到14mile，然后垮掉，腿疼逐渐主导了比赛，
10mile都是在挣扎中度过，pace在9－10分钟徘徊。非常感谢一个参加relay的黑哥们，
一直陪我说话，we are almost there, we can not loose。无数次出现抽筋前兆，立
刻降低速度，调整落地姿势，最终没有抽筋，也没有走路，勉 |

缺点就是平时long run也没法好好锻炼跑坡。我上次跑DRC half的时候就发现Dallas老
区市中心那里一带大坡没有，小坡（5-7%左右的incline)不断，不过还好White Rock的
沿湖一圈8-9麦的样子没有坡，就是进了市区和居民区比较痛苦。 |

你说的那个大坡应该是在Winstead and Lakeshore刚离开湖边进居民区的地方。那里也
是DRC half中连续5 mile坡路里的最后的一个大坡。我深有同感啊
