actually, i found out chinese is one of the boring people to play with, if
they are not your close friend. no, acutally, most of asians.. they are just
too serious.
there were severl stories i want to say. my former home course, sterling
hills, gathers several taiwaness. when playing with them, the atmosphere
among the 4some was like ice. nobody (no, 2 of the taiwaness) was not
talking at all. Richard (a senior) and me just like joking around. I had to

the first time i went on the course with friends (4some), two of them pull
carts. the other one said he has one, but forgot to load into his car. i am
the only one carrry. i think thats why they got lower score. //hoho
is it a ping hybrid or fairwood in your bag? |

) are both owned by NCGA.

Yeah, their BLUE 73/135 6676 yard is harder than average muni course.
Also it is very long "hike", and hot weather almost killed us last time we
walked. This weekend will cool down a bit, but I'd rather pay $12 for an easy ride.
If book now, we can get Sat 2:30PM 4some

4some group, rushed my tee shots, hit 2 PW tee shots, lost both balls. this
one really hard to estimate which club to use.

monday lake chabot, the first 4some before me is kind of slow, i waited them
for 2 holes before i decided to pass. then waited the second group 2
holes before pass. at #18, still not dark, i start to practice a bit. So i
estimate 3 hour or 2hour 50 min could almost finish 18 holes at 6000 yard
course if keep a fast pace...
totally dark about 8:50pm something.... |

as for Taylormade rescue TP #2, i bought one yersteday.
when i tried in the store, it feels so good.
after i bring it to range, the performance was not so good. since nothing
worked during that range session, i dont know it is because the hyrbrid or
just my swing.
will try few more session to make up my mind either keep it or return it. |

发帖数: 2325 | 38 here is one solution to deal with slow play 4some, especially practice play.
1) no separate warm up; use hole 1-3 to warm up, don't expect long ball
first 3 holes
2) play two balls, you can leave after 9 or 10 holes, or 2.5 - 3 hour mark.
equivalently 18 holes played already under 3 hours. nobody says you must
finish all 18 holes.
i tried to tee up two balls at the same time, hit one after another within
10 seconds in quick pace. so won't take much extra time hitting one more
ball.

朋友们夸我PITCHING的不错，我洋洋得意，SHOWOFF我的新杆
他们有一个CHIP UP AND DOWN，SAVE PAR，另外的LONG PUTT CLOSE，也PAR
最后是我，3-PUTT, THE ONLY BOGEY. |

4some for one group, they can send out 24 people in one hour,
within 6 hours, they can send out 144 people.
saying tee off from 7am. they can finish it by 1pm.
for the pga events, players can tee off from back 9 and front 9 simutaneouly
.
it only needs 3 hours. |

I think the simutaneous tee off will only cut 9 groups' time - i.e. 1.5hr in
this case?
eitherway, it seems quite manageable for a whole day event (9-12hours). hehe

tee. rating/slope 72.2/125
To be honest, the course could be one of the easiest courses in the States.
The fairways are just wide, wide and wide.
I had par for first hole, after a bad tee shot, shorter approach shot and
bogus chipping, a 20-foot putting saved the par.
I had bogey for 2nd hole with great tee shot, great 2nd and approach shot. I
3-putted from 15 feet which was lamb.
