10% of our gross income. That is nice.
What percentage of gross income spend on housing is reasonable? Mortgage
companies say up to 35%. That is a choice of life style.Our life style --
We will spend up to 20% gross on housing, so we can have money for other
things.
My wife bidded couples of houses in 92120 and 92115. We are out-bibbed.

We do not adjust to CA life style -- buying a house is purchasing a dream.
Our life style - buying a house is looking for a good deal.
It is very hard to get a good/fair deal in CA when economics is in up-trend.
We are low paid software engineer.年薪加起来only have about $210K.Our
salary income drop about 30% comparing our income in AZ. And the SD house
price is 3x of arizona house price.
My wife wanted to move to SD, I was pushed to move.I keep qutsioning the
move.

1.她太相信seller agent 的话
2 要为我们谈到尽可能好的价格
3 She is super nice!
在3年里，我们看了 92131， 92115， 92120， 91901（alpine）。 她带我们看了大
约100 个房子。我们bid了10个。
头9个， 她要为我们谈到尽可能好的价格， out bid by 别人。
最后一个。我们说不要【谈尽可能好的价格】， 按我们说的价格就好。
我们买时， 有3个80 几万的房子有人要买。
后来， 只有我们买的房子closed.
另2个80 几万的房子back to market.
我估计，这2个在92131【要买80 几万的房子】的。贷款通不过。
我估计, 在92131买80几万房的人，到了他们购买力的极限. 更有钱的人， 不在这区买. |
