and gut! Scored more means they are smarter and work harder than you do.
Respect other people, then other people will respect you.
You should also tell all American double 99ers and Indian 99ers, Pakistan
99ers, UK 99ers that they are "test machines". They are only good at score,
nothing else. Also tell all PD who interviewed you that whoever is 99er, is
only a test machine, can only score, nothing else.

just after it released 1-2 days. Does this mean anything?
I think MEDI should be the place for everyone, not just for 99er's, or
those who got Matched. We should encourage CMGs with mid- or low scores,
with multiple attempts, unmatched to come here for any reason. Sharing
successful stories and happiness is wonderful. But, sharing the bitter and
failure should also be accepted.

发这个没用,5.99er本来limit就是4.
我是问你,那个3刀胖子,
1.如果是扫过直接减掉3刀,你只付了5.99(当然额外+tax)的话,那你就可以买够4个.
2.如果是扫3刀胖子出了另外一个rebate form,也就是一共2个form 5.99+3,
且3刀form limit是1的话,那就只能买1个,除非你想每包3刀的买.
你可真胆小啊!哼! |

”定义不一样。比方说我可能认为俱乐部里的 99er game 比较低级，但是在贴主的眼
中，可能 National Open Pairs （那种只打两天的）也属于低级的。
就像我前面说的，这个时候最重要的标准是你的 state of the game. 如果前面赢了很
多想要确保成果，那么哪怕只有５％的底分可能，也不值得去冒险。如果前面打得不好
，现在很需要高分，那么就应该打挤牌，因为方块如果３－３且飞中，你即使打对也不
过是个平均分而已，总是没救了。 |

first I believed that they sent me the interview by a mistake.scrutwork
commends "you feel like heaven if you get into this program"; however, only
1 FMG per year.
Stay in a very luxury hotel (free hotel and free shuttle service),
preinterview dinner, big table full-course lunch with 20ish residents.
All the faculty are very nice, I impressed chairman in the morning report

For most 'top programs', they probably already have ranked everyone even
before interviewing (or at least have some rough idea). Said that, no matter
how 'superb' your interview skills or English is, you barely can change

The last in my interview list, early february. Good location. I was
terriblely sick that I lost my voice, so I used ocp pills every 2hrs to keep
minimal voice.
Very lucky to meet a great chinese chief (sorry, I am not mentioning the
name-youknowwho!) there,and he was so smart and he knew PD really well.
After very general talk, we talked in Chinese for 1 min, he said if you want
to impress the PD,1,2,3...I was so shocked that he was so direct with me,
and really really helped |

But still DO NOT Gamble, DO NOT have the misconception that You in unless
the prematch offer or Match result. Especially in Internal Medicine.

clarify where we stand now. Let's discuss the possible reasons that can
reduce FMGs probability of getting matched in general particularly for this
year.
more applicants---- not really if counting less European doctors this year
less spots ---- not significant
favor young applicant ---- how many IVs young applicant got so far?
favor high scores --- how many IVs 99ers got so far?
favor GC?--- how many IVs GC got so far |

final score 99ers always felt they were going to fail right after the exam...
I think for step1, kaplan notes, current version of First Aid, Goljan
pathology book, USMLEWORLD are enough....of course, you always needs search
or google helping digest the knowledge from books..."UNDERSTAND"(I prefer "
digest") instead of "remember"....
NBME is good for estimating your real score...I would say minus 5~10% for
step 1....but plus 5~10% to estimate your real one.... |

people might not like this kind of posts). Last year we saw some CMG 99ers/
Ph.Ds failed to match, mainly because they didn't have a backup plan, or
applied not broad enough.

Wish I could shout I got 99!!! I got an interview!!! I got in!!!
Fellowship!!!! But I am such an underachiever. Never been on top. Never
had the feeling that 99 is not good enough. My husband missed one question
with his TOEFL and he claimed he didnt do well. He just makes me sick 2 my
stomach. Every time 99ers jumps up and down claiming 3 months is all it
takes to get a 99, my husband nags me for days. It resupplies him

If it is over 1, go!
If it is less than 1, wait.
Variables: 80K for a technician job. 400K for a fellow.
Double 99ers, match rate goes to 80%.
40 somethings, match rate goes down to 20%.
Times coefficients: 2x if you hate your current job.
2x if you cant live without being a doctor.

whole application package counts, and USMLE score is just one of the (
important) factors.
Many Rads applicants are 99ers. However, some people with Step 1 score of
220+ got in if the rest of their applications are exceptional. |
