1. 在chicago的东北方，离机场和downtown都还有段距离。Affiliate to UIC. 所有病人都属于private case。
2. tour的时候发现大多数住院医都是坐在那打电话，有几层病房是空的没有启用。Workload应该不算大。
3. 医院的特点：只收double99，成绩越高越好，presentation的时候，chief介绍他们的住院医step1和step2 average 248. In service exam, 全是99th（好恐怖）。让我比较吃惊的是并没有发现吸引好生源的地方，可能这种99的environment就是他们的闪光点，呵呵
4. 我被pd叫去面试，最embarrassing的是我居然不知道他是pd。他问了很多关于中国医疗体制和我们医学院的事情，最后跟我说了说Illinois州执照的要求。后来他做总结陈词的时候才发现这人是pd，真是越面越糊涂。

发帖数: 82 | 13 我在ＤＯ学校第三年。六月刚刚考完usmle step 1 (245) and COMPLEX step 1 (704,
99th percentile). 一共只用了三样东西复习。首先是first aid过了三遍。第二是
UWORLD Qbank作了７０％， 剩下的没有来及做。 第三个是pathoma. 做了一套NBME
样题 （235， 考前三天）。总共复习了3个月时间把。 COMPLEX 只用了Saveree book
to study OMM.
由于刚刚考完就rotation, 一直很匆忙没有来及写一点东西。考试感觉很难，60%的题
目都不确定答案自己凭感觉答题的。FA光背其实最后没有太多用，觉得就算再多1个月
复习成绩也未必会提高。考试考得是之前两年学的知识的综合和灵活运用。个人很推荐
pathoma, 看了一遍很帮助理解。自己考前还买了DIT (doctor in training), 但是没
有用上，但别的同学说太长了没有pathoma好。 刚刚考完觉得自己可能会fail, 感觉极
差，所以别的同学如果考完感觉不好不要灰心，估计curve很大。

Background: Non-traditional student (did research for a while, got a master
’s degree, worked a bit before starting medical school), mid-tier state
medical school, pre-clinical class ranking ~top 2%
Pre-dedicated study time: No study during the summer before M2. Did research
instead and am very happy about the decision.

发帖数: 3446 | 16 这个比较好理解。我的理论是这样的：leadership首先要能交流，而交流在智力相差30
分（两个标准差）以上的人之间是有障碍的（我记得有这样的研究，感兴趣的可以查查
）。在99th也上percentile也就是IQ 135以上，IQ比这个越高，不能与其正常交流的人
群就越多，当然leadership要变坏了。 |

主要结果是用一个图来表达，x轴显示percentile，y轴显示女生所占比例。
其中一个曲线代表SAT成绩，摘录如下：
The fact that the curve starts out above 0.5 on the left side reflects
that more girls take the SAT: the raw numbers are about 800,000
vs. 700,000. The ratio dips below unity around the 30th percentile,
reflecting that the number of boys and girls achieving scores in
