"The company will outline details of the planned job cuts on Wednesday"
Oil giant BP is accelerating plans to cut hundreds of jobs within its back-
office departments - many of them based in the UK and US.
The company, which has been downsizing since the oil spill in the Gulf of
Mexico in 2010, said it had long planned the cuts, but is speeding up the
process due to falling oil prices.

平息，当局的辩护反而愈辩愈迷糊；百家店业主委员会主席戴建业指市府就业主委员会
抗议信的回覆，没有针对所提疑问逐条回应，市府重申改名一事是在运输联线的要求下
进行的，但问题是来自运联的回覆却出现明显的前后不一。
戴建业表示，来自市府的回覆中包含运输联线公共事务副主席帕腾(Robert Paddon
)在8月10号发出的一封信，当中的说法与市府关于更名决策过程的解释完全一致，承认
是运输联线要求列市府提交Cambie以外的车站名字，以免与温哥华的Cambie站混淆。但
根据帕腾在今年7月27日发给戴建业的一封电子邮件里曾经明确指出，改名是在接到列
市府的建议后作出的，与运联毫无关系。
戴建业指出，这样明显前后不一的说法，让受到加拿大线工程影响的周围商户感到
非常无奈及失望，令人不免怀疑到：列治文市府可能与运输联线在如何回答抗议信一事
上私下协商，然后同一口径。

were all eaten by birds or crows and this year we actually get to eat some
of them. Come over and pick them next year , they are all gone now :) |

I bough some cherries on my away back from the Rockies.
Our tourguide said that the cold winter and late spring
might not good for the fruit production in Vernon.
But they turned out to be fine. I am really sensitive to
sour fruit taste. I can only eat super sweet fruit. |

weeks , once on Fraser st.(Indian shop) and Steveston village (market). And
blueberries for $1.50 /lb. in Chinatown and Landsdowne Richmond.
They seem to be very cheap this summer , but corn on the cobs are not cheap
anymore. |

援，就好心把手中车票转交该少年时，反惹祸上身，遭警员指为袭警并把她按在地上，
撞崩门牙，而手腕也因此受伤，说担心影响她教琴生涯。这个以为在车站好心助人的女
钢琴教师，周二向运输局警队、省议员及国会议员投诉，希望有关警员道歉，并且要求
赔偿，希望同类事件不会重演。
而运输联网（TransLink）指出，所有乘客踏入运联收费区范围及列车，就要持有效车
票。同时，乘客不能转让已用过的车票予他人继续使用，否则属违法。
由香港移民加拿大、现居烈治文的陈姓女钢琴教师周一向本报表示，她上周六下午2时
许乘搭加拿大线（Canada Line）往购物，到达烈市时代坊站（Aberdeen Station） ，
看到一个十多岁的华裔少年因未有购票，被一男一女的运输局警员截查。
当时她见少年孤立无援，上前看是否需要帮手。女事主表示，由于她不知车票不能转让
，把自己手中的车票转交予少年，以为可助他脱身。但男警员看见后就没收她转交的车

I heard the Aberdeen center's owner also own most of the shops in the mall,
so the $400,000 piano is good advertisement for the mall. |

, and International village and there is a T&T across from there in case you
want to grocery shopping for chinese foods.
Take the Sky train to Metrotown and Crystal mall (chinese mall),
Canada line to Richmond , Aberdeen center (Chinese mall), Richmond center
and River rock casino.
Sea bus to North Vancouver , Lonsdale Quay.

These hooks, while primarily used in smaller sizes in freshwater, are
also used by saltwater anglers. They are generally made from shaped wire.
Unlike the O’Shaughnessy, it can and does bend. It can be bent back into
shape several times before it becomes too weak. However, once a fish is hook
and the barb has completely penetrated, this hook holds quite well. These
hooks are modified with bends in their shanks for use in jig molds.

主要优点：
1，好摘鱼，而且对鱼的伤害小。
2，对minnow的伤害也小。
3，容易钩到鱼嘴巴。
4，防止鱼咬断线。
5，可以挂长蚯蚓。
6，结合braid使用，不怕挂底。
7，绑Fly比较好。
主要缺点：
1，钩软，钩柄长，容易被鱼挣脱钩。
2，钩长，鱼吞进去不好办。
目标鱼：
Crappie
嘴小的海水鱼（Flounder， scup）
嘴大的淡水鱼（walleye， bass）
Bluefish （放咬断鱼线）
