states might sentence him differently. I am sure he will be sentenced to
death penalty at more than one State. As for China, of course he should be
sentenced to death without any ambiguity. We cannot discuss his case without
leaving the bigger context of the law. We might hope that in the long run
China will abolish death sentence, but today it is not realistic. |

For Olympics: No matter how many games we may lose, as long as we win
eventually, that is a good strategy. I don't see any problem with what
Chinese players have done. Why don't Chinese team leaders defend this

order to level the playing field. I am not against abolishing censorship.
Free flow of information is a good thing.US is not a perfect example of free
express, they use selective reporting and hide information when deeming

college tuitions. but there must be some principals to follow.
going to college is a previlege, not a basic human right. so no one should
guranteed a loan to whoever applies it. money is money, it has to be tied
with a certain value. nobody has the right to waste tax payers money.
so I support to abolish the current student loan system. instead, other
types of financial support, such as RA/TA, scholarships can be expanded.
