也许是因为写得太学术了使得一般的读者失去兴趣了，主要是一方面要试图
放进西方政治、社会学的理论框架，引入大量的一般人不懂的术语和专有名
词，另一方面大量的使用计量的方法，没有相关背景的人很难理解，比如给
一个 estimation 结果和一个 Hessian matrix，一般的读者不会明白如何用
Hessian inversion 的 diagonal 来解读 estimation 的 coefs;
而这个又是由于期刊的审稿制度导致的，如果你只是讲一个story，没有 th

自然科学其实也有这样的问题。

，就是关于中国农村的 public goods 的问题：如果非民选的官员的 accou

你用了专业术语。可是很多都是common sense， 我当然不会都投在同类的基金里， 那
跟把钱都投在一个基金里差别不大。本人共买了7个不同的基金和 ETF。三个index，
别的都不是index。 我有一个是从8年前开始买的非index, 上涨的最好，早就翻倍了。
所以我对index 不那么感冒。
实际上有很多人胆小，赠长的快的反而不敢买。很多人明明知道mutual fund 和ETF 挣
钱，可是只敢买fixed income 的投资， 有人存CD， 有的人甚至存到 saving 账户里。
