得益于各位前辈在acct就业方向那个帖子讨论的，小弟受益匪浅。
最近看了H-1B和绿卡申请的统计，title是financial analyst的，申请H-1B和绿卡都比
较有希望。
请问作为fresh graduate的会计硕士(我已经有个一个美国的MS Finance的degree)，有
希望直接找financial analysts的工作吗？工
作内容和技能跟一般的CPA Firm的工作有什么区别呢？看了一些financial analysts的
job description,好多要求2-5年的public accounting的工作经验，是不是mid-career
的人才能胜任此类职位呢？
问题比较多，希望有经验的前辈能够帮忙介绍一下情况，提前谢谢大家了。 |

2x90k + 5k in one account, i did this and redeemed 2 business ticket for my
parents last time.
Spg 40k to account 1- acct 1 has 50k
Acct 1 send 45k to acct 2 - account 2 has 90k
Acct 2 send 45k to acct 1 - acct 1 has 90k
Acct 2 send 45k to acct 3 - acct 3 has 90k
Total cost - 40k spg +~$1500 for 2 business class. Counting spg worth 2c,

时怕f2过来，万一申请不顺利，就只能在家里蹲着了。所以坚决要自己出来。最后挣扎
了一年，终于靠自己f1出来了，可是申请的不是老公的学校。距离老公那里，飞机3个
小时。

说，你第一学期上Financial Acct. And ManagirAL Acct.,然后学几门必须的但又不是
是Acct.的，有了Financial Acct. And ManagirAL Acct 的基础，你基本上可以上别的
Acct.的课了。战线拉的比较长，可能。每一个学校可能要求都不一样的。
education里找到相应的课程,自己交钱报名，到时候上课考试就行了？最后学校应该会
给个书面证明的吧？ |

后门电话能直接接通到credit analysts/Credit Departments / Account Managers /
Account Specialists，这些人能reconsider and decide大家的信用卡申请，信用额度
增加，利率高低等并且立马实行。但是后门电话也不是万能的 不能不顾自己的credit
见好卡就申 不过就打后门电话 还是要硬件条件做好了才是正道，最近就有几个ua被拒
reconsider成功 但是全部chase卡全部被关的情况
如果大家发现有的电话号码换了 打不通了 或者发现有新增号码 请pm我 我改进 增减

acct的说法。很多新移民去读个1,2年的acct program，出来去做bookkeeper。慢慢地
市场就饱和了，再加上经济不景气。。。不过即使现在，找个bookkeeper工作还是很容
易的，pay是低，而且发展前景不好，但是也轻松啊。
现在acct中国人读的太多了，找工作好多时候是自己人跟自己人竞争，当地人没有语言
问题，他们自己一个pool的。
cs现在是好，不过我很难想象万一再过10年再来一次危机被lay off了，我还能不能再
找码工的工作。 |

今天开完账户，工作人员专门给
打印了一页summary, 上面给出了routing #, 是9位数字。
然后接着是checking acct #和saving acct #.
格式是：
0123456789-S20 for saving acct,
0123456789-S00 for checking acct.
前10位数字完全一样。
后来在他们的网站上注册以后，发现网上看到的
checking和saving帐号也是这样的。
来美国快10年了，BOA, Citi, Chase, PNC，WAMU, WFG，HSBC，ING都开过账户,
这样的事情还真是头一次遇到。 |

如果大家做过一些norton等一些商家的rebate收到prepaid visa卡或者其他AMEX,
MASTERCARD, Discvoer（不知道有没有discover的gc，没用过 没见过），少了还好，
自己也就用了。可是碰上一些护士等手里积攒的卡多了，有没有太多的用卡途径，那么
clover就是解决这一难题的最佳途径了。其他功能clover跟serve，amazon payment，

Citi got me too, and even went above and beyond the call of duty and closed
all 6 of my Citi cards in the process. Worse yet, those ba$tard$ put a stop
payment on a ~$2k mortgage check that had been deposited 2 weeks earlier. I
can halfway understand them thinking that they can confiscate (per the T&Cs)
TYPs where the CC statement hadn't closed yet so they hadn't posted to one'

我对日本的印象还很不错, 因此很想去旅游. 这事让我感觉自己好贱, :-( 被领馆反复
折磨还要求人家给签证).
下面的是我在yelp上写的review, 懒得翻译了,英文不好各位见谅. 血的教训就一条,
能带的材料, 能想到的全部带上, 另外对方问你在日本有没有联系人, 一定要斩钉截铁
的回答没有, 一个认识的人都没有, 避免节外生枝.
令注: 从最近开始已经不需要Employment verification letter.
Bottom line is that I saw rarely anyone can get their visa application
accepted in the first time. Most of time, applicants have to make multiple

e.g.

Table 2:
name acct num rank

Jim 20 52 9
What I need:
name value id acct num rank acct num rank acct num rank
Jim 288 abf 12 29 8 98 95 7 20 52 9
The record numbers in table 2 may be variable.
Any help would be appreciate. |

要把目光放远一点. 看看美国的经济形势和就业趋势. 有ENG背景的还是应该好好地学
ENG.

ACCT说白了是个混年头的事情... 你三十岁再入行的话.准备混到什么时候去?
每个人的专业都会面临各种各样的挑战. 在挑战面前,你忍了.坚持住了. 你就很可能会
成为最终的胜利者.
ACCT其实也是靠忍,忍过来的..一年一年的...不好混啊. |

accounting（not open to business major），intro of financial acct，intro
managerial acct，3字头的survey of commercial law，4字头的financial acct I，
cost/managerial acct，Tax I（估计这个也不会让我上吧），Accounting info
system，然后就是这个auditing了。我应该先上哪门呢？谢谢！ |

要转学. 想问问 San Jose State 的TAX 怎么样? 来学校招聘的 公司多吗?
从学校介绍看, MS of Acct. 好象只招本科非会计专业的. 我本科是 Business
Administration, concentration on ACCT, 应该属于ACCT 专业了吧?
之前有两年小Firm 的工作经验, 不知道湾区的会计工作好找不? 希望新年有好运 :) |

你specialized在哪个方面啊？跟acct相关，做acct一点问题都没有，如果跟IT相关，
就做IT好了，或者risk analysis/consulting，不必做acct啊。 |

my two cents:
when received cash:
Dr: Cash
Cr: exchange acct( Due to/from acct) or Current Liab
when make the purchase:
Input the Purchase invoice:
Dr: exchange acct...
Cr:AP(20000)
when cut check or transfer money:
Dr: AP(20000)
Cr: Cash
If the money is = purchase total amount,
when exchange acct s/b wash out.
if is not =, then depends.
if > purchase total: |
