Franklin Kameny, 太轻看美国医学工作者的科学素养了. 好象他们改变了过去的看法
不是因为各种研究, 分析,总结的结果, 而是因为几个gay activists的反对而已.
再说, 将同性恋从精神病中剔除也不是美国一国医学界的共识, 整个西方医学界, 连中
国医学界都是如此. 难道中国卫生部还怕什么gay activists不成? |

您说的这本“书”有出版商吗? 有 “书”评吗? 有peer-review 吗? 不过就是发到网
上的帖子的精美版本而已. 老实讲, 这本“书”的准确性我不敢说. 我只是奇怪, 在40
年前, 是 Pro-gay的势力大还是anti-gay 的势力大? 这不用我说吧? 美国精神病学协
会的一大群医生可能会在 anti-gay很强大的情况下, 违心地承认自己过去的观点错了,
倒向一小撮 gay activists 吗?
将心比心, 让任何人承认自己过去的观点错了, 都是件很难的事. 让被人认为是菁英的

们面对自己的gay/lesbian子女的出柜的过程，从抵制到接受，最后成了LGBT activist
。当然也有例外，比如前民主党众议员Dick Gephardt，他和他老婆从一开始就是接受
他们的lesbian女儿的，并且向公众公开他女儿的性倾向。最感人的故事是一个母亲，
她女儿向她出柜以后，她表示坚决不能接受，结果她女儿没有反抗就自杀了。她女儿死
了以后，她开始去了解同性恋现象，后来自己成为了一名很积极的activist，电影中她
一直在哭，说可惜的是她和她女儿再也没有和解的机会了。
这部电影里也有对圣经中关于同性恋的观点的一些解释，但是这部电影最感动我的是那
些父母，有些美国父母真的是非常伟大，当他们自己走过了从deny到接受的过程，她们
不仅自己接受了，并且还在为LGBT的权利奔走呼吁；他们虽然失去了自己的孩子，但是
还不放弃为其他LGBT争取权利。他们在做这些事，源于对自己孩子的爱，但是又不仅仅

Having failed (miserably) to read and understand the arguments of the
Conservatives when it came to the challenges to Obamacare, the Democrats and
the LSM (but I repeat myself) were shocked to find that the high court did
indeed appear receptive to those arguments, and dismissive of their own
positions.
Now they are working on “Plan B.”

1960年代，一夜之间，DEM在social issue上180度大转弯，而GOP随之也在social
issue上180度大转弯，在fiscal issue 上口是心非。从political compass上看，DEM
从西北象限跳到西南象限，GOP从东南象限跳到西北象限。
真是风起云涌的时代。
不过放在全世界的视野，中国开始轰轰烈烈的文化大革命，巴黎在街垒和巷战。全世界
的左派在大躁动。
这种由activist主导的急剧社会变革，对于大量非activist，本质上是一种moral的强
奸。需要大量的人，尤其是南方白人，承认自已的生活方式是morally guilty。这就象
共产党需要所有地主，富农，资本家，小商贩承认自己guilty一样。这也是这么多年下
来，美国在social issue上不理性，不成比例的不停的斗争的根子。怎么可能理性起来。
