关于英文能力，请各位打消顾虑。我们作为绿卡申请者，英文本身就不是我们的母语，
我们的喊话对象--议员们因此也不会对我们有完美英文表述的期许。我们只需要做到流
利顺畅的表达我们的主张就可以了。
正如主贴所述，我们将会为那些有意前往拜访议员的同学提供技术上的支持，这些包括
英文发言底稿。基于你所拜访的议员党籍不同，我们将为你准备不同版本的发言，届时
你只需照本宣科即可。
关于大规模寄平信，这将会是我们CAMPAIGN的重要内容之一。但我们觉得更有效的是我
们亲自上门拜访，哪怕只是上门DROP OFF这封信也比通过邮局寄出这封信有效果。而且
议员一般更重视本选区的声音，因此如果你跨区寄信，恐怕你的优先等级会比较低。当
然，在适当时候我们会贴出请愿信模板，恳请所有EB申请者帮助我们寄发。
最后说一下我们建议的拜访议员步骤：
首先，去该议员的个人网站，点击CONTACT，然后一般会出现一个发讯息界面，其中要
求提供发信人的姓名，住址等基本资料。这时候如果你提供的地址在该议员的选区之内
，你就会成为他/她重点关照的对象。请你在这份EMAIL中简述我们对SKIL ACT的支持和 |

legal immigrant who came to this country after 20, spent 4-5 years getting
an advanced degree, working and paying tax for another couple of years

Senate of the same congress, and signed by the president at the time for it
to become law. So the passage of Dream Act in the house now won't mean
anything when the new year starts. |

的环境下, 说dream act的失败是legal immigration的失败确实太没有逻辑性了.
美国人当中大部分是反对任何方式的移民 -- 除了西欧和以色列人 (原因很简单, 前者
同根同种, 后者有钱)
共和党有人支持职业移民, 反对非法移民 (公司需要非法移民继续非法好付低工资)
民主党有人支持墨西哥非法移民, 反对职业移民 (工会需要合法移民没法合法不抢工作)
总之是无解的. 需要bipartisian solution的移民法案永远不会通过. 大家就死心了吧 |
