indicates the actuator is in good condition. if so it might be the plastic
linkage is broken, the linkage is part of the bracket between actuator and
trunk lock. if so the bracket needs to be replaced. |

显的弱点，它的反应模式是固定的。具体说，Torsen差速器一般提供1:3的Torque分配
，如果两轮间的Torque差别过大，也会出现打滑，这时就不如电控系统了。
泛一点说，纯机械系统在适合它的简单应用下，确实比机电系统反应快，这是没有疑问
的。机电系统的瓶颈也是在机械的actuator。但有两点。一是机电系统做得好，也能接
近于机械的反应速度。第二，如果反应模式复杂，那么机械系统就做不出来，或延迟也
有不小的延迟。并不是所有的机械系统都是纯刚性的。
这个Fiat在2002年做了，2009年投产。前面说过，机电系统的设计还有很多潜力可挖。

in some rare cases it's something stucked(most likely caused by accident).
You have to check with repair manuals to make sure whether the lock actuator
and door lock assembly are separate or together. If they are together you
have to replace them together. You can get a cheap one from junkyard since
they don't always fail. |

差怎么会有非50:50的动力分配呢。BMW网站讲的是对的，全时40:60动力分配，根据路
面和驾驶状态再做调整。fj和yling说的是不对的。由于压力不大，转速差不大，这点
磨损不算什么了，终生不换。像你说的发动机还磨损呢。
xDrive的四驱原理和保时捷是一样的。但后者更高明的地方是6对离合片由6个actuator
分别控制，从而更精确的控制前轴需要的动力，而BMW的xDrive的多片离合只有一个
actuator来控制，档次就低一级了。 |

Beep w/lock & unlock
When using the remote to lock/unlock the doors the hazard lights will flash,
and you'll also hear the door lock actuators if you're in a somewhat quiet
environment. We want to enable the audible chirp/beep sound though.
In the owners manual, on page 24-25 it shows how you can choose the "setting
confirmation signals". They show the options being:
A) hazard lights flash
B) an acoustic sound
C) both light and sound (what we want)
D) off - no light or sound

启动车子的时候，赶紧有些滞后，今天早上响半天才启动。
电池换了四年了，这种情况是不是应该换电池了？电池的寿命一般都不长吧？四年前有
个technician说我们的actuator坏了，可是换那个很费钱，所以我们就没有换，换了电
池，这又工作了几年。有人说actuator不好的话，可能比较费电池，我想要不就干脆再
换个电池。这么老的车，我想着只要能开就继续开。连county交property tax的时候看
看只剩2000不到的价值了。 |
