，NND，果然一直在打的是pfizer的defender 3, with a highly purified adjuvant，
狂郁闷啊有木有。塞塞，正好又该打了，本着知错就改的态度赶紧跟vet电话问疫苗的
事，一直去的这家pet hospital竟然没有non-adjuvanted rabies 疫苗，狂ft啊有木有
，不过还好她们主动说可以从别的clinic给调一只过来。好吧星期四下午带皮殿过去了
，很欣慰的得知rabies是1年的那种non-adjuvanted，然后很抓狂的得知FVRCP不是！！
！唉，过去10年里皮殿跟着无知猫奴到底是受了多少苦啊，泪奔。。。
然后自然是光打了rabies没打FVRCP，说好春天体检的时候再打，她们给订non-
adjuvanted。不过现在猫奴的想法是索性空一年算了，完全indoor，risk应该比较小吧
。大家说说行不行？
还有个想吐槽的是，这家诊所里仨vet，这次见的vet是以前没见过的，网页上说特别对

I attended an webinar by NCCN on adjuvant therapy for NSCLC pts and asked the case. The presenter is leaning towards using adjuvant chemo therapy. I am still collecting more openion on this. My mom will have first first follow up CT in Aug. I guess (guess only) if obvious disease progression were seen, chemo should be used. I still have the hope that if she can rest well and build up her immuine system, she will be able to keep the cancer in check.

This is quoted from the reference i gave above:
"There is only one suitable rabies vaccine and that is Merial's PureVax
rabies vaccine. This is a NON-adjuvanted vaccine.
DO NOT ALLOW AN ADJUVANTED RABIES VACCINE TO BE USED.
Unfortunately, the PureVax rabies vaccine only carries a 1-year rating even
though 2 studies have shown that it protects cats for much longer. This is
in contrast to the more dangerous adjuvanted rabies vaccines that carry a 3-
year rating.

adjuvanted，但rabies目前好像只有一种，比普通adjuvanted疫苗贵。
Westbury我还没实际去过，刚领养可乐雪碧那会带他们看感冒ringworm的是附近另一家
，Meyerland Animal Clinic，visit fee跟你上面说的差不多，当时治的还算不错吧，
就是复查也一样收visit fee，也没有24小时emergency，在77045区域yelp上评价排第
二（westbury满分第一啊），不过rabies是用的唯一那种non-adjuvanted疫苗，刚刚才
问到~~ |

发帖数: 6158 | 13 理论上说这些疫苗的实际有效期都比标注的一年或者三年要长，所以晚个十天半个月的
不用担心。
indoor猫猫个人觉得rabies和FCVRP还是最好保持up to date，一方面疫苗对控制疾病
很有效，另一方面满足相关法律法规政策要求，比如我们city要求每年rabies，还有据
说petplan不会赔付因为没有核心疫苗而感染上的这几种疾病。其他的疫苗就不需要了
，不是百分百有效，猫猫也没有处于高危环境。
不过疫苗确实是可能有副作用的，保险起见最好使用non-adjuvented疫苗，这个具体得
问vet，各个诊所不同，一般FCVRP都是non-adjuvanted，但是rabies很多都不是（貌似
目前只有PureVax是）。我当时问了附近好几家才找到一个，评价最高的一家都没有。。
总之我个人是这样操作的，rabies每年一次，FVCRP三年一次，只用non-adjuvanted疫

我个人是选择打，虽然严格indoor，主要考虑到FVRCP的免疫效果很好，而这些病一旦
得了是非常严重的。而且FVRCP第一年booster之后每三年打一次就可以了，市场上也大
多是不加佐剂的（non-adjuvated），引起sarcoma的概率比较低。两害相较取其轻了。
除此之外我也打rabies，但是严格选择non-adjuvated，很多vet提供的疫苗还不是这种
，不过已经有越来越多的vet提供non-adjuvated疫苗，好消息。这个的主要考虑是
rabies对人的威胁太大了，如果真有，承受不了。另外也可能有家猫意外咬了客人或是
pet sitter，有个rabies证明会稍微少一点麻烦~~
都是小概率事件，就看个人权衡了 |

develop very fast and spread to the opposite side very early. Treatment is
surgery plus adjuvant therapy (radiation therapy and chemo). Early surgery
is very very important. You need to find a very good hospital who has
extensive experience on this kind of tumor. (I saw a patient with GBM who

1. if 猫白血病 is the same as feline leukemia virus, then natural immunity
of cat for this disease is very strong at age one. The virus is not highly
contagious, requires prelonged contact with infected cat.
2. the Fel-O-Vax is killed virus, killed virus contain something called
adjuvants, to purposely cause inflammation. Adjuvants are known to cause
skin cancer (sarcoma) in cats.

然都是用Pfizer三年有效期的killed virus vaccine with adjuvant。请问有猫爸猫妈
知道休斯顿哪里的rabies疫苗用的是non-adjuvanted版本吗？比如PureVax？
如果实在没有，那就只好就近找个地方打了。city of houston规定rabies必须每年都
打才能license。顺便问一下，大家的indoor猫都有license吗？没有会怎样？

The main difference between China and USA is: Most patients here go to core
biopsy/lumpectomy/adjuvant chemo and or Radiation. Most patients in China go

我妈妈是四月份发病，后在上海肿瘤医院进行的手术。术后医院进行多学科会诊，不建
议adjuvant chemotherapy.我不是很确定，读了nccn的指南，感觉指南对多中心的bac
也讨论不多。
我想大家可能在医学院或者medical center，能帮我妈妈的这种情况作个咨询吗？是否应该进行adjuvant chemotherapy，什么方案比较好？
---病史---
妈妈四月家乡体检发现左上肺磨玻璃阴影（GGO,Ground glass opacity)，约1.5cm,无
任何其他症状。 60岁，从不吸烟，家庭成员无吸烟。
五月在上海肿瘤医院薄层CT,发现两肺更多结节。穿刺怀疑肺腺癌。未发现远端转移。
五月底对左肺的三个结节作了契形切除wedge resection，手术后石蜡病理报告如下。
基本上是“双肺多发性肺腺癌，以肺泡细胞癌为主”。
分子检测 EFFR 未见肯定突变。
医院多学科会诊不建议术后的放化疗，建议3个月后CT随访。

1997年1月逝世。设施配管1级技士，核电事故调查国民会议顾问，核电劳工救济中
心代表，北陆电力志贺核电厂停止诉讼原告特别辅佐人，东北电力女川核电停止诉讼原
告特别辅佐人，福岛二号核电厂三号机运转停止诉讼原告证人。「核电劳工救济中心代
表」在他仙逝后，因后继无人关闭

Many doctors may still recommend surgery, I don't. I am very conservative
when I give medical advice to my family members since I definitely will
weigh the risks and benefits. But to patients, I will not discourage them in
order to avoid unnecessary troubles.
Prostate cancer surgery has too many complications, plus adjuvant therapy
