mpix to me. I had a set of pictures, taken by Kodachrome using a Contax T2,

发帖数: 5159 | 4 我比较了mpix和adoramapix的metallic paper，mpix稍微好那么一点点（锐15%，人像的
脸更立体一些），但是需要用肉眼非常近距离的仔细看才看得出来。如果用loupe，能看
出来mpix的分辨率高大概50%。
考虑到mpix两倍的价钱（算上15% coupon），我更倾向于选择adoramapix。 |

if you prefer not to calibrate your monitor, then ask adoramapix do the
adjustment for you, that's free. |

40-80% more expensive than adoramapix.
If you only want 4x6 print, go to your local drug store.
If you want 5x7 or larger, go to adoramapix.
If you want 8x10 or larger, mpix start to work it.
If you want 16x20 or larger, consider whcc or bayphoto.
You need pros like danny to tell you the later two. |

but I think local store should be good enough for your purpose. |

price is reasonable compared to local stores but you can compare yourself.
I haven't tried other online print services.

最近这些日子order了一些print，简单写下来，什么print到哪里去order性价比比较高。
1.4x6 matte/glossy，量比较大的话（100张/comparable）snapfish，0.12/print+
shipping，一般都有10-15% off coupon + fatcash + shipping。量比较小的话local
的CVS，网上order然后pickup，0.19一张加税。
2.5x7 matte/glossy如果量很大（250+），snapfish.com,0.29一张，5x7 lutre/matte
/glossy（小于250张），adoramapix.com，0.35一张+shipping，纽约的可以local
pick up省shipping但是要交税，他们有自己的icc，可以embed |

发帖数: 5133 | 37 可以比店里冲印好多了，十几年前的照相喷墨打印机就很牛了。
问题是自己不搞color management, 打印效果会和显示差别较大，墨水也是大开销，厂
家白送你打印机你买几次墨水他们就都赚回来了
不过不打印大幅fine art这类照片的话自己打印就没啥太大意思，现在我都是Costco打
印，他们店里冲印机的color profiles都可以下载，自己soft proof看效果，网上订也
可以指定不做color correction，因为片子我都预先correct好了。要一些特殊相纸的
可以网上其它店打印，比如Fuji crystal archive deep matte的纸AdoramaPix就印得
很好 |

AdoramaPix用Fuji Deep Matte纸印两张看看
Costco用Fuji Frontier 570 Minilab的也可以试试，会color management可以下载
printer profile转化后做无自动校色打印 |
