的。你可考虑detatching和aerating，网上有很多detatching和aerating的教程。 |

的一半好些，reseeding就可以。后院长了很多moss的那块他说因为地势比较低，有积
水，而且还有大树在那，基本没什么办法。他说可以8月来做这些事情，总共800.
前院 till, reseed，后院aerating overseed，前院shrub trim ，种子种blue
Kentucky grass mix +shade sun
大家看靠谱么？如果我们自己做，till, aerating是不是都得去hd租机器来做？新手做
ok么？我们算一般handy的吧 |

final judge and decision maker.
My recommendation would be this:
1. Do it yourself.
2. Renovate both the front and back yards in the fall, not now.
3. Do a soil test.
4. Do soil drainage and compaction tests.
5. Amend the soil from soil test results between now and the fall. It might
be laughable to do so before planting in the fall, but eventually you'll
realize that you have the final laugh.

accordingly. If you choose to do only one thing to your lawn, this is the
one you should do.
2. Adjust the irrigation system to do deep but infrequent watering. You
have cool season grass so you shouldn't be in a very hot location. The rule
of thumb is to water 1 inch (so water gets into 4-6 inch into the soil)
once every 7 days. Depending on your soil, you may need to adjust
accordingly. But every 2 days is too much.

翻地 till 了，
草的品种决定了冒芽儿的速度。
之后就是玩命浇水， 看说明。
上面铺了一层peat moss/strew 用来保存水分
starter肥料可以 冒芽后下， 少量， don't burn it。
草地冒芽儿后， prodiamine 搞死野草。 |

百年不遇的东部冬季大雨终于在上周三落下帷幕，东部人民正如火如茶的投入到栽后重
建活动中。
周二：水桶举重，8桶
周四：水桶举重，12桶
周六：在自家前后院快走7小时，顺便把前后院的地翻了，草种撒了，肥撒了。翻地使
用的是一个租来的aerator,跑起来象斗牛一样，膀膀儿得到充分的锻炼。一个人把那个
aerator从车上推下来又推回切，有点像挑滑车。
周日：水桶举重，5桶，全部浇地了。早晓得前几天的水不倒，留到浇地很不错。
本周食谱都是家常菜。昨天晚上吃的火锅，补充了大量的牛羊肉。 |

关于简历：我现在主要的目标是Consulting公司中的Scientist/Engineer。我在国内的
本科和硕士专业分别是给排水工程和市政工程，无论是工程还是研究经验都是偏重于水
和废水处理技术的应用，来美国后做的研究则偏向Science。客观评价的话，我的实际
操作能力较强，性格很开朗，善于交流，喜欢学习新知识，所以感觉Consulting应该是
个不错的尝试，而一份目的明确的简历则是这个尝试的开始。考虑到这个目标，我的简

发帖数: 9441 | 13 刚来美国的时候，看到家家户户割得整整齐齐的绿油油的草坪，非常感叹这才是高品质
发达国家的生活。等到自己也有大草坪，才明白它是压在美国人民头上的一座大山。我
家的草坪大概六千多平方尺，每年为它花费了大量的金钱和时间。
浇水，一周三次，每次二十五分钟，碰到特别热的时候要隔天一次，不然草就发蔫，长
虫子。我算过，每月要花六十到八十的水费来浇水。
施肥和杀虫，我雇人做。他们一年要做六次Scott Turf Builder Pro，每次一百五左右
。春夏还有有两次Lawn Insect Control每次一百，秋天一次Fall Lawn Core Aeration
每次一百三，算下来每年一千五左右花在施肥和长虫。我也曾经试过自己做，结果发现
花费差不太多，但是买肥料、杀虫剂、除草剂、租工具的成本费也要一千左右，而且效
果不好，原因是工具不行，洒得不均匀，另外可能时间也没掌握好。
最烦是割草。夏天至少每周一次，有时要两次。原来用手推的mower，每次要一小时。
后来怒了，换了rider，虽然时间减少到半小时，但是花了一千五百多，还有汽油和机

lime中和一下。每年reseed之前做core aeration松土。这两个，
