regulatory science／affairs是一个讲究experience的东西，
第一个敲门砖如果没有绿卡，需要sponsorship， 就很难拿到
拿不到这第一个机会，后面就彻底没戏
我有这个MS的学位， 周围也有不少同胞拿到这个学位， 拿到工作的，都是有卡的
没卡的还是灰溜溜的先熬绿卡 |

close to biology at all.
For example, medical device (PMA, 510K) are better suited for BME background.
Biology PHDs don't have any edge over college graduates in QA/QC， etc.
And most importantly, RA is heavily based on experience. With no green
card, you don't get in and you don't get any experience.

看到网上有些学校提供Regulatory Affairs for the Biomedical Industry 这样的
Certificate，不知道去学了有用不，有学过的同学或者已经在Industry的同学来说说

硕士转专业申请了PSU 的 international affair MA
(1.5 year with tuition fee 30,000$)
但不知道这个专业在国内 ／外的就业前景如何？
缺乏本专业的背景的话会学的很困难么？
因为这个专业在法学院下 所以发到LAW 版来听听大家意见
不转专业的话 就只能找technician 的工作了 谢谢 |

tory affairs, 说这种职位要求懂各种FDA的regulation,而且还要懂life science,说是
最好有个PhD (preferably in life sciences/pharm)，看起来平均工资很高。 所以想
在生化PHD毕业后再去读一个RA的MS，现在还在考虑，因为学费挺贵的 |

It has lots of information you need to decide if you wanna go do regulatory
affairs.
Low level RA job is very boring, basically paper works. Pay may not be very
high.
High level RA job is much better, but it is very demanding on your
communication skills and your personality. You may get stuck between FDA and
the R&D teams of your company. |

发帖数: 17 | 44 我在国内做美国和欧洲的注册比较多，但是仅限于原料药的。总体来讲，做regulatory
affairs是满好的，这个是一个知识和经验积累型的行当，经验多了，机会也多，收入
相对也比较高。资深的人士，是各个公司抢着要的人。虽然偶没在美国做过，但是之前
的美国同事告诉我，这个行当在美国也是非常热的，很好找工作，但是我们这些老外来
说，最大的问题是语言表达的问题，所以，如果是在美国混，估计难以混到比较高比较
轻松，只需要动动脑子把握方向那样的职位，估计大多是在下面劳心劳力的那种。可是
，有了经验，国内很多的公司都会用高薪来聘请。中国企业很多都希望向印度企业那样
做成药的出口，成药在法规市场的注册非常缺人才，如果有这样的人才，他们都会高薪
聘请。说实在，国内现在好多企业不差钱，缺的是合适的人才。这是个瓶颈，有很多的
机会留给大家。另外，真正有经验的人，哪怕是给国内的企业做咨询顾问也很好。 |

发帖数: 44 | 46 最可行的办法，是你在工业界找一个工作先。最好是一个生物制剂公司，靠近
development的位置。取决于你现在本身的专业背景，如果和protein engineering相关
，有process control, quality control,quality analysis相关的经验更好。这样可
以先进cmc部门，慢慢转去做cmc regualtory.
如果你有医学的背景，就看看能不能在clinical development里面找一个位子。然后再
慢慢转过来。
公司的ra部门，一般是不可能要没有任何工作经验的。尤其是你只有学校实验室背景，
没有工业界背景的。
还有一个办法，就是你看看有没有小的专门给别人做regulatory affair consulting的
公司。如果你能进去从最基础的职位做起，一两年后有经验，就可以试着申请大公司的
位置了 |

Minor responsibilities: all other post-approval activities, such as labeling
updates, ad/prom
Potential responsibilities: clinical, IND, new NDA
Ideal qualification: scientific background + hand-on CMC experience
I THINK candidates with excellent personal skills + non-RA industrial
experience + limited RA exposure (RAC cert, RA master, RA supporting role)
