前段时间去Miami玩，回来后收到警察给的camera ticket，说是在一个路口failure to
comply with a steady red signal，罚款$158, 不会涨点。说我是违反了Florida
statutes 316.0083, 316.074(1), 316.075(1)(c)(1).
去网上看了他们拍的照片和录像，发现我是在1号公路上右拐Palm Dr的时候被拍的。我
在最右边那条只能右拐的lane，打着右拐的闪灯，看到红灯后就开的很慢，图片上显示
是10mph，然后就拐到Palm Dr上了，没有做complete stop。我猜想警察给ticket就是
因为我没有complete stop然后右拐。

发帖数: 9308 | 11 几个月前，参加过一个律师举办的遗嘱知识普及会，有些记不清，也有些可能不准确：
1、跟lz所说的一样，这个监护人，一定要找US residents。而且，一定要自己指定，
政府指定的可能根本不是你希望的。从另外一个角度讲，政府指定的监护人，一般收取
的费用比较高，好像是遗产总额的5%左右（如果不对，请指出），如果是自己选定的朋
友或亲戚，应该不会这么高。
2、几个Witness?有的州2个，有的州3个，有些州的遗嘱基本上一样，就是这个witness
数目的差别，因此，最好一律找3个人。
3、公证(Affidavit)，虽然不是必须的，但建议做。在遗嘱被争执或法院调查真实性的
时候，如果没有做Affidavit，3个Witnees必须同时在场才能判断，试想万一其中1人因
故不能出席，遗嘱就不能生效。做过Affidavit后，遗嘱就跟这3个witness没有关系了。
4、是否找律师，争议比较大。简单的原则是，如果case比较单纯，比如：财产不是太
多，没有财产要按某种比例分配给多人，房产少或没有，等等，自己网上donw一个kit
就行了。因为，只要能通过政府的probate就达到了这种“简单 |

考试被取消。今年早先时候为了抓捕波士顿爆炸案的恐怖分子哈佛乃至整个波士顿城人
民被关在屋里有一天之久。警方在忙碌了大半天之后没有发现任何炸弹的迹象。
案情到了周二（12月17日）突然有了进展。警方抓获了发出这条炸弹消息的人。是波士
顿爆炸案犯罪分子的同伙还是脑子不正常的流浪汉？都不是，结果让人大跌眼镜 – 嫌

2012年6月获USCIS批准。目前我们的case正在国家签证中心National Visa Center（
NVC）处理。请问我们的case获NVC批准后，我的配偶去广州使馆面签移民签证时需要I-
864 Affidavit of Support吗？
查了很多关于I-864 Affidavit of Support资料，说法都不一样。有的说Employ Based
移民签证不需要I-864 Affidavit of Support。但是有的说需要。

发帖数: 124 | 23 讲的是我家LD的故事，估计没几个人像他绿卡这么曲折了。兼求祝福，如果一切顺利，
一定倾尽家财发包子（尽管我好像也没多少包子）。
PhD毕业06年初进公司做研究，因为公司有规定必须等一年才办绿卡，结果07年刚要开
始申请，公司裁员了，一切绿卡申请freeze。所以自己琢磨另找私人律师办EB1。08年
初EB1交上去，08年末公司那边的PERM也终于交上去了。结果09年EB1 RFE后被据。PERM
又由于公司裁员问题被AUDIT，一直到10年末才批下来。好不容易熬到今年1月PD
current了，又因为公司律师拖拉兼自己填了党员误事485这礼拜才交。本想说那就等
几个月吧，最多年底也该拿到卡了吧，又传来公司裁员的消息，且此次裁员LD的部门是
重点，他的项目又极可能被CUT，所以凶多吉少。唉，要是被裁了，虽然公司政策可以在
payroll上呆两个月，估计绿卡也没那么快下来。一切怎么就这么不顺呢。。。

这是针对绿卡的申请资格而言的，如果officer认为一个人不会有
主要的public charge, 那可以发绿卡。
这是因为他有sponsor. 而提供医疗和食品住宿是sponsor的责任，
所以才不会成为政府责任。

一次是五年前搞dealpass寄丢了东西，那边要我affidavit才给重新寄。
二一次是LD上学凑钱开I-20，其中有个哥们希望要个affidavit，我就搞了。
三一次是这次租车申请信用卡保险，信用卡需要我affidavit说没有其他保险。
话说三五块钱一个notary service也靠谱，只不过用惯了免费的，又是学生，花钱心痛。

讲的是我家LD的故事，估计没几个人像他绿卡这么曲折了。兼求祝福，如果一切顺利，
一定倾尽家财发包子（尽管我好像也没多少包子）。
PhD毕业06年初进公司做研究，因为公司有规定必须等一年才办绿卡，结果07年刚要开
始申请，公司裁员了，一切绿卡申请freeze。所以自己琢磨另找私人律师办EB1。08年
初EB1交上去，08年末公司那边的PERM也终于交上去了。结果09年EB1 RFE后被据。PERM
又由于公司裁员问题被AUDIT，一直到10年末才批下来。好不容易熬到今年1月PD
current了，又因为公司律师拖拉兼自己填了党员误事485这礼拜才交。本想说那就等
几个月吧，最多年底也该拿到卡了吧，又传来公司裁员的消息，且此次裁员LD的部门是
重点，他的项目又极可能被CUT，所以凶多吉少。唉，要是被裁了，虽然公司政策可以在

前段时间去Miami玩，回来后收到警察给的camera ticket，说是在一个路口failure to
comply with a steady red signal，罚款$158, 不会涨点。说我是违反了Florida
