在美国, 所谓“affirmative action” 又叫“平权法案”，指的是“平等人权在就业
领域的体现”，即 “equal opportunity employment”。具体而言，“平权法案”要
求美国联邦的各级 contractors and subcontractors必须遵照执行。 其目的是杜绝各
类就业歧视，包括因肤色，信仰，性别，国别等引起的歧视。

今天最新出爐的消息,民主黨拉丁及非裔議員今天給了自己同僚另一位亞裔眾議員Al
Muratsuchi (AM)一個下馬威，繼劉雲平之後,又以AM再作一個榜樣，如果不遵守"core
Democratic Party priority" 的可能後果。
問題是AM根本沒聲明他是反SCA5的。他們只是拿另一個亞裔議員作個榜樣嚇阻其他的議
員。這是另一個例子說明在反抗類似SCA5這樣的掙扎之中，選黨不選人的重要性。多數
的暴政....

有的金融机构如银行，还有所有的大学，医院，都必须实施AA作为在美国做生意的条件。
公司必须AA的标准很详细：只要这个公司有50人以上的雇员，年收入 5万以上，其雇员
的种族构成就必须反映公司所处地的劳工种族构成比例。
